I've never stopped lifting, but I quit doing squats a few years ago. This allowed me to safely get started again by doing sissy squats. The 'machine' provides stability. It allows you to safely go ALL the way down and engage every muscle group without losing balance. You can then move to goblet squats by grabbing a dumbbell or kettlebell. It's not meant of barbell squats unless you can safely lift the bar and weights up and onto your shoulders and set them down. Not a good idea. But it's great for sissy and goblet squats and the price was more than fair. Lastly, it's easy to move as it has wheels. You can lower the seat and slide it under something, but it's hard to stand up against a wall as the wheels will roll. You need "chalks" of some kind to keep in place. I been use it over 3 months now, 8 in 1 machine, many options squats, abs, glutes, hamstrings, push up, sit up etc. it fit for the whole family to use this machine. It’s heavy duty and well build.
