Longevity is the most important attribute of a garden hose, so it's much too early to make that determination. However, the hose feels very sturdy, not flimsy like many hoses that crimp during the first couple uses. This hose takes a little bit of effort to coil up after using, but nothing excessive. In my opinion, it's worth a little extra time if it can avoid kinks and extend the life of the hose. I bought a 50-ft hose for $40, and it comes with spare washers AND a spray nozzle with 10 spray patterns (the nozzle is better than most sold at the big box stores). It seems well built sturdy a little stiff but I believe it'll last longer than those flimsy recoil hoses out there I've had two of them go bad low holding them for no reason. That's one I believe will last more than two summers for sure amen and amen.

This garden hose has the features I was looking for. It is lighter weight than a normal water hose, and it has been easier to move around without kinking. It is also drinking water safe. When I first hooked it up to the faucet, it was leaking a little. Then my husband tightened it up and it has not had any leaks. The sprayer nozzle is excellent quality and hasn’t leaked. I’ve been using this about a month now, and have not had any problems. When you get the hose out of the box, you do have to spend some time untwisting it from being tightly coiled in the box. This is stated in the directions. Once you get it completely untwisted, it will not kink or tangle up again. It coils and uncoils easily now. Also the connection at the faucet has to be really tight. It’s light and easy to handle. The sprayer works really well. It’s never easy to recoil a hose to look like it did when it arrived, but if you stretch it out to it’s full length the first time you use it, as they advise, it makes it easier. It’s a very attractive color.

I haven't had this hose very long. IT feels nice and sturdy. It is quite rolled when you unroll it, but if you follow the sellers instructions it unwinds all the way quickly. I waited until I filled it with water and then tried to straighten it out. Don't do this. It just makes it heavier to try to straighten. Getting a hose by delivery having never seen it before is a little uneasy for me because every hose claims to be good or great, well as we all know that’s not the truth but much to my and more so my wife’s surprise this hose (after given time to warm up in the sun) is a very good hose I must admit. I have used the hose every day for a while and not one kink of course like anything else time will tell. I will purchase it again.
