First, there are 2 instruction manuals in the box. If you only found one, keep looking because half the important information is in the other one. Second, the pictures in the book aren't great. The setup took twice as long as I expected (in all fairness, I may have been overly optimistic about my timeline to begin with), but I reached out to their support and they were really helpful and responded quickly. Once I got the setup figured out, the product works really well. It's compact and fairly quick. I was able to engrave some cheap cutting boards and notebooks with my organization's logo and received rave reviews about them. It's definitely a good value for a personal engraver or small setup, but not as beginner friendly as I anticipated. Also, the documentation should probably say that a laser GRB folder is created and the standard buttons file is inside it. <- That took an email to their tech support to figure out. ... show more

Updated. Gluwphy reached out and even with time difference has attempted to do multiple trouble shootings. I gave it a 1 star. Will go to a three for now for the attempts and troubles. They are sending some things to see if it’s a bad part or software issues. I will do a final update and review when things are complete. So far they are going above and beyond to make things right. Set up was easy and packing was next to none. I got it all set up and went to do a test burn, and nothing. The Red Alignment laser is canted and can't be adjusted, and the blue laser to etch and cut won't even work. I have looked at all the settings and tried all the power ranges. It is nothing but a paperweight, and there is no information on the web to help troubleshoot this issue. Support ticket sent in but we are going 24 hours with no response from Gluwphy at this point. Took 2 weeks to get replacement head. Attempted to use the rotary device that I ordered for the engraver and the chuck portion napped the day when I was trying to loosen it up to accept a tumbler. I will be looking at a different name brand for sure!!!! ... show more

As a beginner engraver there is definitely a learning curve with this, but that’s to be expected with any engraver machine. Make sure you have the 2 different manuals to set it up. The machine itself is really nice. Good quality (plus it looks nice in my craft room). When it’s running it works pretty quickly, and the results look amazing! I’ve only engraved wood so far but I’m excited to try other materials soon. ... show more

Received this item and right away you can tell this $600 machine was made cheap. The U-shaped conductor wiring was barely hanging on. The plastic it was connected to was cracked. The machine DID NOT come with instructions on using this product…you have to YouTube others using it to get it working. The laser did not function properly as in it did not cut glass as promised. The speed was too fast or something because it would only go for 3 seconds before stopping. The size is average. You have to buy the cup device separately. ... show more

I am a total newbie at laser, was a bit worried on this but wanted to make a lot of fun gift ideas. Easy set up, took 15 minutes. I Learned quickly how to get it moving, now it’s just dialing in the details with How many programs are available for the designs and learning how to size it, etc. The machine itself is very impressive to watch work through the lid & how it works. This laser worked great for 2 months and then stopped connecting to my computer, tried multiple cables and different computers to confirm it wasn’t on my end. Emailed support and also completed their online form. ZERO response in 7 days. I anticipate replacing a single circuit board will fix the issue. :-( ... show more

Everything with this laser machine seems to work great however it uses other software and there’s a challenge because you have to learn the software and enter all of the mathematical values for every position unless there’s an easier way that I don’t know
