I ordered two sets of these dishes. Held my breath as I unpacked the boxes, thinking there was no way each piece would be in perfect condition. What a nice surprise... not a chip or crack to be found. They were packed extremely well, with miles of bubble wrap. I thought the grey matte might be a little drab but it's beautiful. I noticed the price increased by $16 per set the day after I ordered, so saved $32, yay! Now I'm waiting for the sale to come up again so I can order a third set. These are fairly heavy and look and feel like expensive dishware. I ran them through the dishwasher upon arrival with no issues. I did notice when I hand wash them, the plates are a bit slippery, so be careful. Haven't noticed any scratches yet but have only been using them for about a week. Exactly what I wanted. They’re definitely matte grey and it comes with four of each. 4 small plates, bowls, and bigger plates. They feel thick and sturdy as well.

Very attractive dishes. I bought the grey matte set because it perfectly matches my large soup bowls of another brand. The plates are very heavy compared with my Mikasa and the dinner plate is deep and huge, so much so that it almost can't fit in the wired segments of my dish drainer. A Compared with Pyrex that gets very hot in the microwave, these thick plates stay cool around the edges making it easy to remove with just your fingers. ... show more
