The plates have a unique shape in that they are tray like. Each component has a different, subtle design. They are beige or cream colored. They are somewhat heavy. The big plates are quite large & could also be used as a platter. I really like how they look.

The plates and bowls are beautiful and a good size. Unfortunately 2 out of 4 of my bowls were broken 😕 I would have given a 5 star if the bowls had been packed better.

I love these plates and cannot say enough about them. I love the slightly raised edges, it keeps in liquids like steak juice and salad dressing. They are perfect for the dishwasher, fitting in well and food melting off them in there like a breeze. Not very many etching marking from knives which is also inevitable. I really like that there are four designs and each of them are subtle but different. Only wish is that there were EVEN more options available in this collection- but love this as an everyday staple! ... show more
