    • Nice little grill for 1 or 2
I've been enjoying this little grill. It's very basic, no temperature controls and very simple to use. Makes a tasty burger in a jiffy and I even enjoy cooking my ribeyes in it. Previously, I was making my burgers in a skillet and they were OK but because this heats up to a nice temp, it sears the meat nicely and gives a better flavor. It cooks very quickly as well. Top and bottom at the same time, no flipping. You can experiment to find out how long is perfect for you depending on the thickness etc. It does get very hot so don't plan on moving it around after it heats up unless you have high temp gloves or something. It also cleans up very easy as well. Here is one very important tip I can give you. Never EVER spray so called non stick sprays such as Pam on it or any other non stick skillet, air fryer basket etc. Because it will ruin the non stick surface and deteriorate it fast. I learned this the hard way after ruining several non stick items I owned and not knowing that the sprays were the cause. I learned that was cause in an article I read and since I stopped using it and only using regular oil in a sprayer if needed ( I use avacado oil) my non stick stuff stays like new and remains slick! Most of the time, you won't need any oil anyway if the meat has enough fat. The cooking surface is rather small but I find it perfect for me since live alone. It would probably be OK for 2 people also because it cooks rather quickly. Way back in the 70s we had presto burger. And they were great. Basically the same as this but the single version had a round insert to pre shape the burger. They also had double versions etc that had different inserts to cook different things. This grill works exactly the same way and make the same delicious burgers. It also makes great paninni as well, I've made several in it and they were crispy and delicious. It is cheap, small, portable, easy to use and clean. It is a simple no thrills grill that works perfect for cooking a burger or two. I use it several times a week and love it!

Pros: small,heats up fast ,cooks very well, ok oil drip tray , unit can be stored vertically or horizontally. Easy to clean , the drip try is dishwasher safe not the entire unit so re read the advertised info 🤣 Cons: drip tray can be bigger, should come with a cleaning brush to ease cleaning, needs a on off switch . My order process: Well my first oder was lost and after 2 months still reads in Route 🤔 My replacement item was sent but without some complaints to A mazon . And it was sent via regular shipping not my original prime 2day shipping. My final tips .i will be adding a on off switch on the extension cord or put it on a app switched outlet to turn it on and off with out having to unplug it constantly. I gave the unit 4 stars due to the lack of a on/ off switch other than that it would be 5 stars. Hope this helps someone. ... show more

I have owned many George Foreman grills. My last one had a crazy pattern on the top that was a real pain to get clean! This time around I wanted one that was small and easy to clean. So far this one is meeting all my expectations. It fits a a sandwich nicely or even a few burrito's. It cooks evenly. It heats up pretty quickly, so I don’t have an issue with the lack of power control. If I want it to stay warm, I leave it open. I try to keep cheese and wet food off the grill, and wipe it down with a wet paper towel as soon as the food is done. Will it last me as many years as my $200 one? I doubt it, but for the price it doesn’t matter. It’s a great price. Perfect for cooking for one, and for small kitchens. Nice and light if you want to put it away after each use like I do. Update. Lasted less than a year. Something white inside broke that I believe stabilizes the lid/hinge. Now the lid is uneven and flops around. Very disappointed. I thought it would last longer. I’m removing one star for not making it a full year. ... show more
