    • Great saw for light duty home use!! If your building a house spend a little more$$$!
Needed a saw for a few "honey do's" around the house. This guy works great for pine, haven't tried any harder woods yet. But I think it would be fine for that. If I were a home builder or professional it would be too light duty for that, so I'd spend the $$$ for a professional duty saw. Don't know why some folks are expecting a heavy duty saw for $150 bucks cause you get what you pay for, and this guy works fine for light duty jobs. I'm putting shelves in the pantry and building some cabinets for the laundry room and my garage. One person complained about loudness....but it's actually quieter than my work saws which are heavy duty. They make ear muffs for the noise which you should wear on any saws such as this. ... show more

    • Good price, good saw.
A great cheap table saw. Had one similar 20 years ago that lasted for 20 years. Stand was simple to assemble, if you have trouble you should stay away from sharp things anyway. Works perfectly, no issues. December 2020 update: still working fine with no issues. Great saw for the money.

    • Disappointing
Cheap overpriced ,no quality of any part of it. Very disappointed. Guide doesn't even clamp down square whatsoever. Need to use a manual square to get the fence aligned. You would almost think it's made of cheese. I have spent half the money on a table saw in the past with way better quality and capability than this Fisher price saw. I honestly feel like I'm a bit nervous to use it in fear that I may break the damn thing😡 Update: it did BREAK! Third board I tried ripping and motor started sparking and motor quit all together. Amazon said they would refund me the money due to difficulty communicating with the seller and a few weeks later I find out I was lied to and was never refunded any money and have disposed of the item since it was junk and was told I'd get my mind back and never did so now I'm just out all the money and all my confidence with Amazon ... show more

Dislike for the following reasons: 1. The unit did not come with a sawdust bag collected 2. The kickback pawls do not stay in place- a safety problem 3. The blade guard does not stay in place - also a safety problem 4. The holes for bolting the saw on the stand had to be drilled in order to pass the bolts through the holes. ... show more

    • Low Budget, Low Quality
The fence is very cheap and hard to keep parallel to the blade when tightening it down. The ruler for the fence distance measure is a sticker adhered to the front of the machine. The miter slots were not cut smooth, had a few ridges of metal sticking up in them, causing the included miter gauge to jam in several spots. The top is flat, but is not very smooth. The splitter was not aligned with the blade properly, had to adjust and slightly bend it into place. Most of the adjustment controls are flimsy plastic that are hard to set accurately (had to use a square while adjusting the blade to get it perfectly vertical). If I had it to do over, I'd save up a bit more money for a better quality machine. ... show more

I held off for years on buying one of these. I researched and found this to be well reviewed and of good value for money. My one issue was during the stand assembly process... there is no “legend” of which screws/nuts/bolts are which (and there’s quite a few). But I figured out what to put where — and I’m very happy with the tool in general ... show more

    • Missing part.
The package was missing RIP FENCE .Just want it replaced not the saw. Stand didn't match the saw, but I can manage that. If you can't find a rep fence don't bother replacing the saw. My mistake, I found it. It is 4 stars now.. No returns. thanks

    • Blade shaft Broke before I even turned it on.....
Pulled out of box today, lifted the blade to install safety guards & then a pop sound & the turn handle completely froze, useless. The blade is stuck all the way up. Not good!! Hadn’t even turned it on at that point. Very disappointed.... looked promising, but very disappointed.
