We bought these rocks/wool embers after updating our fireplace. We love the color of the rocks and wool and how it compliments the stone around our fireplace. It took about 2.5 bags to fill up the bottom of the fireplace. I wish it came with more product so you don’t have to buy multiple bags. The directions say not to place the wool over the gas pipe so we need to fix that. But we haven’t quite gotten the wool embers to glow yet even directly over the flame. Looks good, easy to use, plenty of material included. Don’t know why the rating asks for heat output because these are simply decorative and don’t affect heat output. Would buy again but have enough for years.

So I waited a few days to post after I received it because I want to make sure it was going to hold up. I am very pleased with this product. I love the way it looks makes it look like the embers in the fireplace highly recommend it.

There is a lot of product in this purchase. I still had half a bag left. It's pretty chunky and you have to break it off into small pieces. I lit my fireplace just for a few minutes so I didn't give them enough time to lite up too well, but they work.
