The bar and chain needs improvement. Chainsaw will run fine, but the bar and chain do not last at all. Just order a different one when you buy the chainsaw.

I was very skeptical after reading the reviews but I am absolutely happy with my purchase. The bar cover was a little hard to get on because the studs were too close together but it was easy to tweak them apart, problem solved. The saw started right up after a few pulls and runs and idles good. Starts good when hot. I was expecting the chain to be low quality but it doesn't stretch any more than the more expensive chains and holds an edge just as well. The saw is lightweight but doesn't seem flimsy. I have 4 Stihl saws and it's hard to keep them running and I bought this saw for less than a repair bill on a Stihl. I was so impressed that I ordered two more for family and friends. ... show more
