The smell is not as horrible as others, the color is very pretty; however, it does get lighter faster than others. The lighter color is just as pretty, but obviously lighter.

I’m not one to write reviews but when I feel like it warrants a review I will give one. I got the 2 pack yesterday and put it on my hair today. I have never had a hair dye not work until today! I have used this product for years so it’s not like I don’t know how to put dye on my hair. When I put it in the bottle to mix it was really thick. I shook it the best I could and started applying. By the time I got more than 1/2 way thru the bottle it started clumping and getting thicker and was hard to squeeze thru the nozzle. I made sure my roots had enough mixture on them but ended up having to leave about 1/4 of it in the bottle because I couldn’t get it out. After leaving it on 30 minutes I rinsed it out and put on the conditioner. Here is a picture of the top of my head after finishing. There is a good chance this stuff has been sitting around a while and is old. I would not buy right now if I was you until new product gets in the warehouses. I doubt I will try the second box! On the bright side- this brand is my favorite hair dye and I will continue to use but will probably purchase in a store for now. ... show more
