When a garden hose does not reach the length you need, it can be interconnected to achieve longer lengths as needed, such as 150 feet, 200 feet, and so on.

In order to prolong the service life, please drain the water in the hose when not in use for a long time, and place it in a cool place, avoiding direct sunlight. I got this hose for to water a side garden area and although it's a bit less durable then previous hoses I have it does and adequate job at watering. I am unsure how long the hose will last as it seems easy to puncture but it's a fair price for a lightweight hose.

I was a bit skeptical that this hose would perform as advertised but have to admit, it works like it should and is lightweight to boot. It does, indeed, stretch to approximately 50 feet and delivers enough water pressure to satisfy most garden uses. It seems a bit smaller in diameter than regular hoses, even when pressurized, and subsequently doesn't provide as much water volume as a 3/4 or 5/8 inch hose. However, the volume is enough to send a healthy stream another 15 feet beyond the hose end from my well-fed water system. If it had more robust connections and sprayer it would rate five stars. ... show more

We put this on the spigot for our front yard/porch. It fits perfectly with no leaks. The hose is so lightweight and small when not in use that it's easy to store on the holder we have. I'm happy as I can't easily lift and carry a regular 50 foot long hose, but can easily lift and move this if I want. When in use, it expands to the entire length, so will cover our front flower pots and porch. It does have a slightly lower amount of pressure due to the design, but it's plenty for most needs. Expanding hoses are excellent to have. This 50' black hose is simple to connect to your faucet. There is a quick on/off lever which I like to use even with a rain shower sprayer attached. The hose expands and contracts quickly and is so easy to either hang on a reel or curl up into a pot. The materials used to fabricate this hose seem pliable yet solid which I hope will ensure a few years of use. Not a big fan of the standard heavy hoses. They are hard to move all around and can get you dirty fast. This hose is not like those. It is lightweight and easy to use. The shutoff valve is a nice touch. In the past when I've tried lightweight hoses like this they can leak and are a little flimsy. So far so good here.
