The brace does a great job of stabilizing my ankle. Overall, it's comfortable; however, I have a thick ankle, and the top Velcro portion does not close, leaving the Velcro to rub on my skin. I put on a thin sock, and all went well.

I have to wear a brace after breaking my leg above my ankle. After surgery the doctor told me that I lost over 1/4 inch of my fibula due to bone splintering. The fibula controls balance. The brace they provided me was more bulky and had laces and had to wear 1 specific shoe. It was too thick on sides for other shoes. I like different shoes and sandals too. This fits into my shoes. All is Velcro and easy to remove and adjust. If the side supports aren’t strong enough you can add a thicker one on each side. I did. I will be ordering a few more of these. They are perfect for my balance and cover easily and any shoes will usually work. I love it. ... show more

The quality was wonderful, but, I have arthritis and cant put that damn strap on and wrap it around on that side only. So it’s in the trash. I really dont think it would fit in any show either.
