Yep , all the other reviews are right , this thing is small , highly effective, heats up instantly with the press of a button. Gives out just the right amount of white noise without being too loud /intrusive to your life . Probably weighs a pound or so at best so it’s easy to tote around. Modern look helps it blend with any decor . I’ll come back and update after a year or two and see if it’s still going . But for now , $13 it’s heating up my bedroom and keeping us cozy in this awful winter weather. ... show more

I'm a beekeeper and of who don't know honey crystallizes with cooler temperatures. So I decide to upcycle a retired wine cooler. I needed a heat source and most use a light bulb as a heat source. Then I came across this little guy. Which seemed to be the smallest electric heater out there. First impressions. Well, I paid 12.99. I wasn't expecting a whole lot. I received my Amazon package and opened it to find an even smaller box than what I was expecting to see... now for me that's amazing because, smaller the better right! Unfortunately, with size and price i was concerned for the initial plug in out come. However, I plugged it in and holy crap does it pack a punch of heat! A little of that annoying new hot electrical smell. But it works well! I can absolutely see this product being the perfect small space desk top warming companion. For my application, this heater is going to be absolutely perfect. I immediately ordered a second for my honey warmer as I have a double wide separated wine cooler. I am also ordering two more for back ups in case I go down. For the price it's worth the back ups of just in case. Price to quality and performance. It’s smaller than I expected even after seeing the reviews but it’s honestly perfect. I use it in the bathroom (yes, even though it says not to.) and it goes a great job at heating the space and quickly so. It doesn’t take up as much space as what I was previously using in here which was the goal. It is pretty quiet too, so that’s a plus for if you plan on using this elsewhere. It only has one button that powers it on and off so obviously also only one heat temperature which initially I was worried about but it puts out a great warmth and has not failed in keeping me directly warm or the space of the bathroom warm. I have the smallest room known to man in my apartment (I think it was actually an office), and this little guy can keep up with most midwestern cold days until they start getting REALLY cold. It takes longer to heat up my room than a 750 or 1500 watt heater obviously would, but it keeps it warm once it gets there. I actually woke up to a way-too-warm room today because of this little thing, which is saying something for its hardiness. My apartment has the most costly electric baseboard conductor heaters that run only at 1500 watts and don't have anything but a heating rod to push their heat out, so my electric can run anywhere from $300 on up a month when we use those. This little heater is only 500 watts, and it actually has a fan to push its heat out, and it works fine. I could kiss it. ... show more

This is just what I needed!! I ordered this heater specifically for my desk at work. It is ALWAYS cold in the office bc the a/c is on all year round and it doesn’t help that I sit at cubicle with a window, I’m always freezing, so I needed small space heater to keep warm. I work in an old building and almost anything can knock out the power, so I also needed something with low wattage so that I wouldn’t d blow a fuse, and this heater has saved the day! Not only was it super affordable, but it’s small and compact! I can tuck it away in my desk or behind my file cabinet when not in use, the safety feature that turns off the heater when it’s knocked over is awesome, it’s quiet while it’s turned on, and the amount of heat it outputs and distribute is unmatched! There are times when I have to turn it off, bc I get a little too warm, but mostly I am comfortable.     • A little too hot and loud for desktop, but wow this thing cranks out heat

I got this because my hands get really cold on my desk, but whole-room heaters were not practical in the large open area I work in. I love the design and the one-button control, but this really needs a "low" mode to cut the heat and fan speed in half or more. It's far too hot to have this aimed at you for more than a few minutes. Pros: - Wow, this little baby cranks out heat. - Simple design looks great basically anywhere. No retro-futurism here - just a nice simple box that draws no attention. - Feels solid and well-made. - No complex beeping controls or obnoxious LEDs. Press button - heat on. Press button again, heat off. Love it. Cons: - Great process for something the really could heat a small room like a bathroom or - Having this a few feet from you, I would describe the sound as distracting for sure. It's louder than any computer fan for sure. You will 100% notice the noise. - There is no auto-shutoff when it gets really hot. ... show more
