It has batteries and also is rechargeable which is nice. There are three speed modes- performs good. The three legs bend to wrap around whatever you need to attach it to- stroller, car seat, etc. The only thing I would change is to make the legs a bit longer but they do still work good as is. Bought this mini fan for my newborn and I place it on car seat or bassinet as needed. It has 3 levels of fan speed. It works great given its size. Level 1 fan speed is enough on most days and keeps my baby cool even when I place it 1 feet apart. Another cool feature is the fan rotates 360 degrees which enables me to adjust the angle of the fan such that the cool breeze doesn’t hit my baby’s face directly. Doesn’t make annoying noise. I was looking for a cheap fan for my stroller and aside from the price, this fan is anything but cheap. Sturdy, stylish and absolutely perfect. It has three speeds, the legs are easy to bend but hold strong. Comes with a charging cable and already had some charge in it. The legs attach to the base of the fan super easy and has buttons for easy separation. Highly recommend this. Whether you need it like I do, or if you are using it in an office, bedroom or chilling outside on a hot summer day... don't think about it... BUY it! ... show more

Bought this fan after baby got really hot on a walk. This thing is amazing. It has three speeds and does a great job of keeping baby and mommy cool. The bendy legs that hook to the stroller are my least favorite thing about this. They require some work to get positioned just right. The battery life is wonderful though. I just took this on a cruise last week & it was amazing! The power beats just about every other fan I have, and I have several, including that expensive "as seen on social media" fan that oscillates, has 4 speeds, has a light, telescoping pole & USB charge port. Don't get me wrong, that fan is great, but this fan is mighty! It's really low profile makes it easy to toss in your beach bag & go, is easy to just carry around & can literally stand or hang just about anywhere. The only, major, flaw (hence the 4 stars) is that one of the three arms broke toward the end of our cruise. As you can see in the photo, I can still make it stand on its own, and I can still use the remaining 2 arms to hang it if needed, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time before the other arms give in. I've started a return for a replacement so we'll see how long the second one lasts. In all fairness, I manipulated the arms on this little guy ten-ways from Sunday & it still managed to perform like a champ! It's also worth mentioning that the charge lasts a long time. I've had it running here on my desk for over 2 hours, not plugged in & on low, but it's still going strong & I haven't charged it (nor used it) in 3 days! ... show more

I bought this to use at the hospital during labor and delivery. Loved it! Made such a difference in making the experience for manageable. Wish it had a longer battery life but I just attached it to a battery pack if it was about to die.

I bought this so I can keep my little one cool on the go. It easily attaches to his car seat, stroller, or wherever I need it. I like that it's rechargeable so I don't have to worry about having batteries on hand. Great value for the price. It seems to be very secure, so no worries about it falling on my little one.
