My cats love this, however it took this momma a little long to figure out how to assemble it as the instructions were not very helpful, and then I realized I did it wrong but it still worked for the cats. They are in it at least every day, it also came with some fun bonus toys! The box it came in had little holes you could punch out and use a feather for cat whack-a-mole, catnip, and the exterior design was as pictured. It was easy enough to out together, but it certainly didn't stay together. It took a day for them to collapse it. It was also very small. I have a 7 month old kitten and a 2 year old cat, and the kitten can barely fit inside of it comfortably. Charging $40 for this is wild.

I was skeptical about this but it actually turned out to be a big hit. The kitties all loved it. They take turns playing in the house and dragging all their toys in it. The only “complaint” I have is the green ball doesn’t stay connected. The red bird stays connected and was easy to connect to the house. The kitties even love playing with the box bonus toy. I would love to see non Christmas play houses when Christmas is over. It would be cute to keep the play going for more than just one month. Hubby and I thought this was the best Christmas present we could get them. We have been non stop talking about this! 😻 ... show more

My cats love this for the holiday season, it has an advantage for a hiding place and the scratching board is essentially the best. It is not as sturdy for a large cat if they are active when they are on it. It is a great ornament for cats Christmas decor.

It's very cute and easy to put together. Includes a few extra cardboard toy accessories and catnip. However, it didn't even last a moment of use with a medium sized cat. There's nothing holding the tabs in their slots, so any pressure and the walls slip right out and fall down. I tried reinforcing with tape on each slot but because the surface is so shiny it didn't make any difference. I might try again and hot glue both sides of each connection. My cats were happy with the scratching boards and catnip though. ... show more

Cost twice as much and not built as well as the ones Target sells. It’s cute but structurally flawed and every time my cat jumps on it, it falls apart . What a waste of money- it was expensive !

The media could not be loaded. Not only do both my cats love the actual gingerbread house - which was very simple to put together - the box it came in also converts into a little kitty wack-a-mole game which they love just as much! It came with two little fuzzy balls they can knock around inside the box, which has holes that easily punch out to create this game. I replaced the fuzzy balls with another of their balls so that it wasn't as easy for them to pull it out (my polydactl would catch the fuzzy one accidentally sometimes with his 6 little needle claws and just yank it out without meaning to) and they are playing with it five times a day - they cannot resist it!
