These Joycons are a Joy! to use. The extra features they come with compared to normal joycons is incredible and despite being cheaper, they work just as well as normal joycons. The lights are super cool and very customizable, Also being able to adjust the rumble from the controller itself is a great feature. there are no dead zones or drift so far and they have a great range of motion when testing on the recalibrate joystick menu. At first I didn't think they could pair to my switch from afar which was really annoying, but reading through the instructions again led me to see that only the home button reconnects to your previously connected device so my issue was resolved. There are honestly very few issues that I have but I'll list the 3 I had here: 1. The joysticks themselves can be a tad uncomfortable as the textured rubber part on them hurts my thumb after a short while but that might just be something that effects me. and it could be fixed with some joystick pads. 2. If the controllers are on the switch while it is docked, the USB ports are blocked which is a bit annoying. but not a big issue. 3. The buttons are really dark which makes it hard to see whether or not I'm pressing the turbo button or home button when playing in the dark but this issue will resolve itself with time. These are a great choice for people looking for some cool joycons without sacrificing quality. ... show more

The controllers arrived very quickly, and they did not disappoint! The lighting functions are easy to change, and each color is very vibrant. The details on the lit up portions are done well, and the light shines through just where it needs to. The lighting does bleed slightly at the bottom corners. My set was able to pair with the console with no issues. My only gripe is how the backside of the controller juts out from the switch slightly, but this could be due to the space needed for the lights. The gyro on the controllers work well, and are great for a session of splatoon! The buttons are smooth and not clicky. I personally like smoother buttons over more clicky ones. Both controllers have buttons to change vibration intensities, the highest setting being the most loud. Overall, the joycons deserve a 5/5 stars. ... show more

The FUNLAB Luminous Switch Controller is a great alternative to the default joy-cons that comes in the box with the Nintendo Switch Pros: This controller has beautiful stunning LEDs that are fully customizable. This controller has mappable MARCO buttons, so not only can these be used as an extra button, but they can also be used to execute multiple button combinations. They are Bluetooth so you don't have to use them only for the Nintendo Switch. You can use it on Windows systems, iOS systems, SteamOS, and Android systems. The controller has an easy-to-use turbo function. You can still use them if they are detached from the Switch. Cons: While the controller has comfortable grips, it is still bulky and big. It's not level with the rest of the switch. It has a weak rumble function. Their cost is about the same as new official joy-cons. Overall, I recommend buying and using the FUNLAB Luminous Switch Controller instead of the stock joy-cons controller. ... show more

They will move, I don't notice a delay in it and it makes perfect precision when I'm using gyro controls or regular. To be honest they're really great especially for someone who's got Hella fast hands they work pretty well.

I had my eye on this controller for a while and when the price finally dipped a bit, I took the chance to buy it. Overall, very happy with the purchase. The lights are so cool. So far it has held the charge well and it feels good to hold while playing on my Switch. The media could not be loaded. I love all of the color options in this controller. Especially the teal and purple! If you press the turbo and the joystick at the same time, you can change the lights in your controller. There is also a setting where the lights cycle through all of the colors. The controller is light and comfortable to hold. I like that it feels natural and isn't too bulky or small. When using the joycons they are responsive to actions, and I did not experience any drift or lag. In my video, I demo most of the joycon's features and capabilities with Mario Kart. I got these joycons because I have larger hands and thought these might be more ergonomic than the original joycons. It has taken some adjusting but they are pretty comfortable. All the buttons are responsive and not super clicky and loud. I actually enjoy it as a controller for my laptop, very comfy. The colors are pretty and the hidden til lit gimmick is definitely fun, lights are very vibrant. My one minor issue is the rumble is kinda loud even on the lowest setting, and the vibrations can be a bit much (can be turned off tho). All in all, I wish these were a tad cheaper than they were, but if you have larger hands, or just wanna make your switch stand out, I’d recommend ... show more
