I'm not one of those that likes massages, but I really liked the neck massager on this. It really gets in there and massages the neck muscles and works well on the upper shoulders. The heat is not over powering and you can do the entire 20 min w/o overheating. The lower lumbar works really well. You can tell the difference as it cycles up and down as well as left and right. You can also stop the cycle and freeze/pause it in place or just leave it off. The calf vibration is really powerfull. It's loud and will shake the shake couch. This works better when laying down as opposed to sitting. Only because it's difficult to keep it in place when sitting on the couch. I do recommend this to help you relax. I bought it for my wife to help her relax and soothe her lower back, but I use it more than her...lol. Both the power cord and the cord for the remote are long enough to not worry about having to be too close to an outlet.
