Setting up the trap was incredibly easy. All I had to do was keep the machine running day and night, and it did the rest. The UV light attracts the flies and trap them. The sticky boards inside the trap are super effective. Each morning, I noticed fewer and fewer flies, and now I barely see any at all. The bug catcher light is quiet and unobtrusive, fitting right into my home without any issues. It's non-toxic and safe around my pets, which was a big concern for me. Maintenance is minimal – just replace the sticky boards when needed, and the trap keeps working like a charm. I love that I don’t have to constantly worry about it or do anything special. I'm always skeptical about these devices, but after over a month of using this, I'm extremely happy! With the warmer weather, we started dealing with a ton of fruit flies and gnats. It was annoying to the point where I couldn't eat in peace because of a fruit fly landing in or by my food. We have a clean house and never leave garbage out anywhere. We don't even buy fruit and everything we open gets sealed up. After being grossed out one too many times, I caved and bought this. At first it didn't seem to be working. It was getting gnats but the fruit flies weren't interested. That is until I picked up some apple cider vinegar and poured it in the bait. When I checked the glue trap the following day, my jaw dropped; so many fruit flies finally caught! I was so ecstatic. I made sure to religiously refill the bait as needed (seems like once every week) and then check the glue trap every so often to see if it needed to be changed. They give you a good amount of traps. We still get fruit flies and gnats, but they are so far and few in between compared to before I bought this. I keep this thing running 24/7 with both the fan speed and light set to max. It has also caught a few mosquitoes and a regular fly that snuck in when entering the house. 100% worth the price. ... show more
