Good price, fast ship. You wouldn't believe all the different kinds of pesky critters these little guys catch !! It's January and, here in the South, there are still lots of 'no-see-ums', gnats, and other flying pests. Have even caught a few wasps -- and those are not small -) Use these in different locations, and they work well everywhere! Insects land on these sticky traps, and all i have to do is wait till the catchers are full(ish) and throw them away! No chemicals, no hazard to pets or people. The media could not be loaded. I have indoor plants, and unfortunately my most recent tropical plant purchase came with gnats. Gnats everywhere, and let me tell you, they reproduce fast. The gnats moved beyond my plants and entered our bathroom and kitchen sinks. Unfortunately for me these sticky traps weren't my first remedy attempt. I first used hydrogen peroxide/water spray on my plants, boiling water down my drains, and a Zepo light (okay the light works but does not fix the problem, just gets a few gnats), but to no avail. I did get mosquito bits to kill the larvae but just started using it so the effectiveness of the bits is TBD. Then I got these. Not only are the shapes cute, but they're double-sided sticky, affordable, and work like MAGIC. I put one in each plant pot, and the gnats were immediately attracted. I hadn't even finished placing the traps when I saw at least 7 gnats already falling into their demises. ... show more

I placed these in our plants for the winter since we get a lot of gnats after changing the soil and moving them inside. They have helped alot I only wish I got them sooner. The Good Cheap price They stay sticky for a long time They are bright which seems to attract the gnats. There are 48 of them The bad They are cheap and meant to be thrown out but the plastic body is so flimsy it is hard to stick them in the soil id rather see them attached to a straw or something. I set them on my plants and one near by my fruit basket and it keeps the fruit flies under control. It's not 100% effective but when you see the fruit flies sticking you know it's worth having around.

Generally they worked well not great but well. Easy to place anywhere. Maybe I had a pack that was a tad old . The paper you pull off to get the sticky sides on some were hard to peel and took a couple tries to get off completely. Possibly that Maybe the stickum was not as sticky as it should have been hence the working well not great. Did the job just not as fast as the liquid vinager traps.very convenient how ever.     • Great secondary way to catch fruit flies

These things definitely work for smaller fruit flies. My only recommendation is to pair them with another method. I tend to put a bit of vinegar into a jar, then put one or two of these into the jar as well. These traps do not attract the flies, so you need to have the sticky traps at least close to something that attracts fruit flies. ... show more
