This was very easy to apply and the finished product is perfect. I had lettering done on the outside of the pantry door and installed the frosted privacy film on the inside. In the past I have used clear contact paper for this type of privacy, however, this is so much easier to apply and is removable for adjustments. Overall easy to use. Definitely use water with a little bit of soap with the water. The product had a tendency to "crease" if you press too hard with the tools provided. Besides that it is as expected for what you pay. Does the job. Privacy is as expected as well.

First let me say, I do NOT have skills or aptitude for handiwork, but I applied this film by myself!😃 It took me hours to do it, but I finally got the hang of it, and I am beyond proud of myself!😂 Tip: Apply in daylight. I made the mistake of working at night, so the next day in the light, I could see some little imperfections. At night, from the outside looking in with an overhead light on inside, I could see that my TV was on but couldn't see the picture. If someone had been moving around, I would've seen their silhouette but not the person. In the daytime, I couldn't see anything from the outside, and it still allows for light to come inside. I bought this to put on the bottom window sash so my dog doesn’t look out the front windows all day and bark at people. It was easy to apply. Trimming was the most tedious part—if you’re a perfectionist, make sure you use a straight edge to guide your trimming. It’s easier to get large pieces onto the window without collecting lint and hair along the way if you have 2 people doing it, but it’s possible with 1 person. The razor and squeegee that came with the kit worked really well. My dog is no longer interested in lurking around the windows since he can’t see out anymore. The result looks pretty nice, and way better than having to buy expensive blinds. ... show more

Unfortunately our main shower was built with a chest level window. This product completely resolved that issue. It does take awhile to get perfect but definitely worth the hassle.

My husband and I tried making this work for almost 4 hours. We have two large windows in the front of our house and we followed the directions to a T. We also used a liquid made for window clings and the correct tools, it would slide right off with the liquid, didn’t stick at all to the window, bubbles are almost impossible to get out even if you use the liquid. We cut it to size and it still didn’t work well. It either wouldn’t stick with the liquid or you don’t use the liquid and it was too sticky. It is super thick, some of the thickest cling we have ever worked with. Ended up ripping it off because the bubbles were so bad. Never buying this brand again. ... show more

I was just trying to cover a little window in the bathroom less than a foot wide and tall, so I can't imagine how difficult this would be to install on a larger window. The instructions a easy and it seems simple. But getting it to actually work, stay, flatten all the bubbles out, and cut it to the right size without accidently cutting into it and ruining the whole sheet is pretty difficult. The cutting is the hardest. The instructions say to leave overhang then cut it with the little knife, but I suggest cutting the film to the correct size to begin with. Cutting the edges with the knife is where it gets tricky, and a perfectionist's nightmare. Once it is on though, it does work very well. Though, I'm not sure how long it will last for. ... show more
