The media could not be loaded. We used this product to cover a door to our backyard. I love that the door lets in natural light, but also wanted to make sure to have some privacy as well. I couldn't be happier with how this turned out, despite some of my own minor errors (had a couple of cuts that weren't quite perfect near the edge so you can see a bit of the light in, but this is very minor). I was worried about giving this a try based on some negative reviews that said it was difficult to install, but I found that watching the video included with the instructions and making sure to use PLENTY of water helped it to go on without any bubbles. It stuck perfectly and we've had no issues with it, even when the dog goes up and paws at the door. I bought the "white" version and you can't see out or in the door really at all. It provides a lot of privacy. We did do an experiment to see how much you could see in or out at night when there is a bright light on the opposite side (such as a bright light indoors). If you are standing outdoors and there is a bright light inside, you can just barely see a bit of the shadow of someone standing very close to the door, and the further away they move, you can't see them at all. We've had this on for a little over a month now with no peeling or issues. Because of the white filter, it actually seems brighter with the natural light coming in now before with traditional transparent glass. A bonus! ... show more

The frosted window film has exceeded my expectations in every way. My husband talked me into replacing our old stuff. This product is better in every way. Not only was it incredibly easy to apply, but it also allows ample light to filter through while providing the privacy I desired. One big bonus is that it prevents my dog from constantly barking at passersby, as she can no longer see out! The application process was a breeze with no bubbles, and we even had enough leftover film to get creative. I used them on old wood French doors with 6 glass panels in old wood stripped French doors. It looked fine for the first week but it’s now got some air bubbles near the corners. Maybe due to the older glass, and wooden mullions, even after I used a razor blade to clean the corners, and glass cleaner numerous times before application. It's a bit disappointing when the product dimensions don't match what was selected upon purchase. I opted for the larger size of 29.6 inches by 236.2 inches, but what arrived was actually 29.6 inches by 196.9 inches. This discrepancy was a letdown as it didn't cover the intended area as expected. The installation tools provided were helpful, but the inaccurate size information made the overall experience less satisfying. The film itself seemed fine in terms of quality, but the sizing issue made it challenging to achieve the desired coverage for the window. Also, I would highly recommend double-siding the glass to achieve better privacy. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I ordered the item in a frost, and I do like that. I did follow the directions as listed on the paper which indicated to spray generously on the backside of the frost. The middle section and some edges to the left did stick but the top and the bottom on both sides of the window wouldn’t stay firm . A little over 24 hours, one of the sides started to peel. I had taped it, but as soon as I removed the tape, it started to come off. Not sure if there’s an additional trick to this, but it is not sticking, as I thought it would.
