Great design, wonderful price. Comes with short straps but you might want to invest in longer ones, then the ones it comes with act as extensions. Color is not as bright as the image and will fade quickly if exposed to lots of sun, but overall exactly what I wanted

I never had this happen before (and I own 4 other hammocks)- but this one is too short to use the same connectors as my other ones. I have a 12ftx12ft pergola. I used Wise Owl hammock hooks on the support legs (about 4.5ft off the ground). All my other hammocks connect perfect : nicely stretched out, very little sag. This one could not reach! I had to add a bit of chain to have it reach. Other than that- it's very nice! Durability is unknown since I just got it and likely will now store. until next summer. ... show more

Love the colors, the fabric feels nice, seems sturdy, and it is comfortable to both sit and lay down in. However, the straps it comes with are very short. Luckily another reviewer mentioned this and recommended getting longer straps, so I ordered the XL straps that hold up to 2,000 pounds from the same company. I am so glad I did, for the two items arrived together and I could use the hammock right away. If I had only gotten the hammock the straps it came with would not have fit between the few trees I have in my backyard. The longer straps worked great! So I recommend getting longer straps with this great hammock to be able to use it practically anywhere! ... show more

Nice quality, seems very sturdy, very easy to set up with the straps. I really love the print, its totally my style! Only thing is, mine didn't come with the cords that other people apparently got. :(

    • Great Quality for the Price
I purchased the purple/dark green hammock first, for myself, just to see if a lower priced hammock was worth it. The hammock arrived, upon opening the attached stuff sack, I noticed the carabiners were attached to rope instead of pictured nylon straps - this is okay because it feels more sturdy to me - just mentioning it because it's different than pictured. I had purchased these in conjunction with the Foxelli Hammock Straps XL, so I didn't have to fuss with the enclosed rope (I'm not comfortable with my knot tying skills). I would highly recommend those for that reason. My boyfriend, in trying to find a good spot to hang this, was testing it out. He's definitely under the recommended weight limit but heavier than I. We had some disagreement about mounting techniques - I think its acceptable to just sit on the sit on the short side and position yourself into it, he thinks you need to first straddle it, then position into it. Well, the straddling technique caused the stitching on the attached stuff sack to pop and it was left hanging by a thread. Not a big deal because I hang both this and the strap bag from the carabiners now anyhow. This is advertised as fit for two - I would have to disagree with this... I don't like my boyfriend that much. It's incredibly... cozy. I mean, we could both sit side by side, easily (which is perhaps what is meant?) but laying down together isn't an option. This being said - I purchased the blue/gray for him - this one coming with the nylon hammock-to-carabiner straps. I was a little skeptical because they looks so tiny compared to the rope I got on my first one but they're holding up quite well! If there were any alterations I would make to this design to better fit my needs it would be - a cup holder (somehow) and perhaps a secondary side loop to pull the side up for sun-blockage. My current solution is just to position my foot to make it more taut, pulling the side up more. I'm not sure how else to explain it but the side tends to hang down, otherwise (as opposed to cocooning the user) - this varies depending on how you position the hammock. I do homework in it so I place the head of the hammock higher in the tree so I'm in more of a seated position. All in all, very happy with this purchase and brand (I have several Foxelli products. I believe they are quality, for the price). ... show more

The pattern is beautiful. It’s super lightweight and the material dries fast if it gets wet. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because the straps it comes with aren’t nearly long enough to reach most trees. I had to buy a separate set of straps. But the hammock itself is amazing. Love it!
