This is one that I decided to take a chance on, and it did not disappoint. I'm 6' 2" 205 lbs. It sets up very easy in seconds. It fits inside my gazelle T3x overland tent. It is quite sturdy with zero noises when I move around on it. The thickness of the pad is perfect It does not sink down at all when I get on it. It is very comfortable. It’s strong and very comfortable. As others have noted the bed has no bars in the middle so nothing pokes your back while you sleep. The only thing is I wish it was about a foot wider I am a belly sleeper and my arms are in the edge, it’s comfortable but I would still like a little more room. I washed the fabric to get rid of the new plastic smell, it took some doing but was worth it. For those of you with multiple chemical sensitivities it’s really the best cot I have ever had it is washable and airing it out made a big difference. I would definitely recommend it for those with chemical sensitivities just wash and let dry. A brush with soap and water if you are in a hurry a hairdryer would speed up the process. I'd say it's definitely worth the money. It's easy to stow away and easy to set up. The mattress is fairly comfortable. The only reason it doesn't have 5 stars is because the blue fabric that you lay on is not the absolute best quality, and when my son was putting it on the cot, the corner ripped, without much effort. It's still useable, but that corner is just hanging now. I would buy it again though, and just caution everyone to not "force" the blue mat onto the cot frame. ... show more

OK, you couldn't take this on a hike, but as my last camping trip proved, I am so glad I didn't sleep on the ground. A cold front came in the weekend we were at the campground, and it was rainy and cold. My friend , who slept on the floor of her tent wads not a 'happy camper'! Although I was cold, this bed saved me..it is easy and light to fold/unfold and carry, has a great material (black and white plaid) and looks great. I am very happy with this. ... show more

Purchase was two fold -- 1. I have two kids always trying to crawl in bed with us. 2. for kids to sleep on when traveling. We could have purchased kid cots - but decided on this so that if we went camping the adults could sleep on it too. I feel it is sturdy enough to hold the weight indicated. The pad looks thick ... but after awhile you really do need a more firm cushion. In our case we had nap maps we put under them and that is working great. Because the kids sleep on them it has taken a little while for them to fully flatten out when extended. The only disadvantage ---- is that you can not fold up the cot with the mat on it. So it takes up a good amount of space (especially when traveling). I have not tried it yet -- but may get a comforter size space saver bag (if there is such) and vacuum the air out for transporting or storage purposes. ... show more
