Features

  • Unprecedented experienceThe high altitude suitability mode enables the machine to operate smoothly even when driving the caravan to the high Denver plateau at 9,800 feet. The staged combustion technology controls the flame intensity in summer, prevents the water from getting too hot, and conserves the limited propane gas available for caravan travel.
  • All RV water heaters can be replacedThe Fogatti RV water heater is versatile and compatible with a wide range of applications. With a 13 x 13 inches opening, it can replace Suburban & Atwood's 6-gallon tank water heaters and Girard & Furrion's tankless water heaters. If you were previously using a 10-gallon tank water heater, you will need to retrofit it with an 18 x 18 inches door.
  • Incessant hot waterWith 55,000 BTU of power, it can produce a maximum of 2.9 gallons per minute (GPM) of hot water. Unlike some tank heaters that can only store up to 6-10 gallons of hot water and run out of hot water in 5-8 minutes, our hot water supply lasts over 40 minutes. Added a 21.5 cubic inch constant temperature chamber to address water temperature fluctuations caused by intermittent opening.
  • Save money and troubleFogatti cares for you and has included a pressure relief valve in the product, so you don't have to purchase and install it separately. Additionally, it comes with a 15 x 15 inchees door, a 17.64" x 17.64" decorative frame, and an intelligent remote controller that can be used up to 2 meters away.
  • Safety and reliabilityWe added a filter screen to filter out large particles of dust and sand in the water. The product is CSA certified and has multiple safety features, including a built-in forced exhaust fan on top, stable combustion, automatic gas shut-off for accidental flame failure, and anti-freeze protection.

  • Don't wait, Buy this!
Size: InstaShower 7 Color: Black
I've been debating this purchase. Researching which one would be best and could handle different water pressures (VERY IMPORTANT, most dont). This made the top of the list. As it met my checklist and the price was 100 to 200+ less then others. I found two people in the park with them and they couldn't recommend them enough. So far, it has been great! Con: (This will be a short list. And I'm reaching for these.) *About a 1/4 inch to tall for the old opening of the Dometic GC6AA-10E. Jig saw or saws all for my aluminum frame took care of that. (This was expected) *The fan inside of unit has a low vibration to it causing a low hum in the trailer. (Although this was the only unexpected thing, my unit at home does this and is normal.) To correct this I would put a rubber mat under it to reduce this. This is only slightly louder then the heating element of the old unit and is not a deal breaker. *Another 10 feet of wire to the remote would have been nice. *More propane use (But this is countered by less electricity. And expected) *May have to wait another 15 seconds for hot water to reach the faucet. (Even my inpatient wife does not mind this) Pros: *Looks great outside. Looks completely stock. *Endless hot water (with propane). You don't have to wait 25 mins for the tank to heat up again. You can do dishes and everyone can take a shower one after another without waiting. *Might have to wait an extra 15 seconds for hot water to hit the faucet but it is worth the wait. *Easy install! I made mine more complicated adding valves the had attachments for pressure relief and to attach hoses for vinegar flushes (1/2 threads on the back of unit would fit hoses of a flush kit, this was just my way). I also changed out existing plumbing. I used a 12v connection from a near by light. Some one could do this install within two or three hours. More or less pending connections, and your experience. It took me alot longer in my pursuit of being meticulously (OCD) and making things the way I wanted. Bottom line, get this. You won't be sorry. ... show more

  • Greatest Camping Upgrade Ever!
Size: InstaShower 7 Color: Black
My 6 gallon old school hot water heater died and I was irritated that I had to put money out and they’re not cheap. I saw this tankless unit and I liked what I was reading. The installation was super easy. A lot easier than getting the old unit out. Here’s what I really like about it - 1. You set the water thermostat to your desired temperature, so there’s no messing with blending in the cold water. It’s always the perfect temp. And 2. You get unlimited hot water. There’s no waiting between showers or hosing yourself down - shutoff the shower head - soap up- turn on to rinse- etc. it’s unlimited instant hot water set to your desired temperature. It really is glorious. …and it looks cool which is stupid but it’s a plus. ... show more

  • Good replacement
Size: InstaShower 7 Color: White
This has been working very well for my needs and is a good replacement for my old one that was leaking and had to go. There was one day the control panel stopped working and it turned out there was a bit of moisture inside the compartment where the unit's internal fuse was and the area had to be dried out, and once the fuse was dry and put back in place, the control panel started working again. It has not been determined how any water / moisture got into that area becasue the opening has been well sealed. I'm glad I have this for my hot water needs in my Little Home. ... show more

  • Easy to set up
Size: InstaShower 7 Color: White
Overall, this was fairly easy to install to replace the 6 gallon electric/gas unit on my 2006 Outback Kargaroo toyhauler. Just for context, I’ve worked on my own furnace and trouble shoot and fix everything in my trailer - so some experience is definitely a huge plus since this project involves electrical, plumbing and disconnecting/reconnecting gas lines. The only big con I have so far is that it’s silly to have to buy the door separately. Now I have a useless smaller door assembly that I have to figure out what to do with, because I needed a bigger size door. A few things to note based on my personal experience: 1. I have an existing 3 gang switch on the wall for the previous water pump, gas water heater and electric water heater options. The GAS switch is 12v. Electric is 120/shore power. This unit ONLY uses 12v. When we connected everything back together we had to use the (I think if I remember correctly) orange and green wires NOT the black and white. The black and white (on my old unit anyway) go to the 120/shore power and it blew the fuse on the unit immediately. So definitely double check that. Luckily this unit comes with an extra fuse, so no real set back there. 2. There will be a slight delay in the temperature change at the faucets. Be prepared for around 30 seconds to get to the hotter temps when you turn on faucets. It’s around 90 degrees in the summer where I live (just installed so can’t talk about cold temps yet) and even then the water takes that long to get to the set temperature. I really don’t care because then I can shower or do dishes as long as I want instead of trying to catch every possible drop of hot water. I use a heated hose in the winter so I expect things will be about the same. So just know this isn’t going to be an “on demand” kind of thing. 3. While insanely expensive, we opted to go for the pex connectors (shark bite? Idk) because they are brass and the connection to the back of the unit is also brass. We were having horrible luck with the water pump thread getting cross threaded when we moved it and went to reconnect and just decided that metal to metal would make things go smoother for the remainder of the project. If we hadn’t had to make 4 trips to the hardware store and fighting with the plumbing side of things (not the units fault in any way) this probably would have only taken my dad and I around 2 hours to do in total. My trailer has the water heater under a futon, so I was able to work inside and my dad outside which definitely made for an easy process. I’m sure if it’s in the under storage area it will add to the time and difficulty. ... show more
