Cleaned an 1989 Atwood 6 gallon LP hot water heater. It has an aluminum tank. Other than draining it, it had never been spray washed. This tool performance was outstanding. Has a bit of flex so you can work it through the drain port on the tank. Then good spray pressure to get the hard caked sediment broken loose and flushed out of the tank. I swiveled the water hose around so the jet stream in all directions. Focusing most of the process on the lower sides and bottom of the tank. In the pictures included in this review, one can see how much of this hard grainy sediment was flushed out. The tool only needs to be connected to a water hose to function. I estimate it only took 10 minutes to clean the tank thoroughly with this tool. I highly recommend those who do their own RV maintenance to have one of these in the tool box. ... show more

I've used this annually for some years now and it is great to get all the crap out of the heater before it clogs up the sinks or toilet mesh filters. All of the sacrificial anode eventually ends up on the bottom of the tank and this cheap wand does a great job. In the last month I found one more use...power blasting potty piles! After 5 days I tried to do a black tank dump and nothing came out of the sewer line...repeated flushing only resulted in a small waste stream so I brought the water hose with garden jet spray and tried to but up what blockage existed...without result. I thought I probably wasn't hitting the blockage so went and got the Camco wand and turned off all water TO the coach so I could step and open the head "flap"... Stuck the wand way down the hole and turned the high power wand stream in different directions and withing 30 seconds ALL was back to normal and I had an empty black tank. Now I wouldn't want to put the wand back in my water supply....LOL...but I will carry a second one on the next trip. Camco should also market this as a Black Tank Blaster! ... show more

Not much to say. For something as simple in design, I’m surprised the construction is so poor. Moreover, this thing got past QA. Amazon told me to take it up with Camco, which turned out to be dead end. They didn’t return my call.
