Cleaned an 1989 Atwood 6 gallon LP hot water heater. It has an aluminum tank. Other than draining it, it had never been spray washed. This tool performance was outstanding. Has a bit of flex so you can work it through the drain port on the tank. Then good spray pressure to get the hard caked sediment broken loose and flushed out of the tank. I swiveled the water hose around so the jet stream in all directions. Focusing most of the process on the lower sides and bottom of the tank. In the pictures included in this review, one can see how much of this hard grainy sediment was flushed out. The tool only needs to be connected to a water hose to function. I estimate it only took 10 minutes to clean the tank thoroughly with this tool. I highly recommend those who do their own RV maintenance to have one of these in the tool box. ... show more

This is a great one for our RV. We use it for cleaning out our toilet our hot water tank or any areas that we can’t get to with a garden hose. It’s a great wand to great quality and I loved the price of it. I recommend it for any RV owners.

The reason for 4 stars is because I had to cut about an inch off the base of the nozzle because it was cracked, but after I did that and re-assembled it, i worked very effectively in flushing out the loose scale in the bottom of my rv water heater, had it arrived in good condition, I would have definitely given it 5 stars. ... show more

Had this on my list forever but we mostly just do short weekend trips and I always drain the tank when we get home so I didnt think it was that important. Decided to finally order one and cleaned out our water heater in the Lance today. There was a lot of build up in there! Flushed it several times and lots of visible debris as well as cloudy water at first. Works well and really gets way into the tank. Should not have waited so long to get one. ... show more

These things are junk. Don't buy them!! After a period of time the plastic tube cracks and falls off. Mine blew off inside the water heater and I was lucky to have the water wash it out. But one this is made of metal.
