Description

From the makers of Flexzilla, Colors Garden Hose makes it easier to work around your home and lawn. SwivelGrip action eliminates twists that occur when uncoiling a hose. Conventional garden hose can trap coils that tighten into kinks as you move across the yard. SwivelGrip allows the hose and grip to rotate independently, releasing coils naturally, easily and effortlessly. The large, comfortable gripping surface on both ends of the hose lets you use the power of your entire hand to make tight connections easy. Premium Colors Garden Hose features the same Flexible Hybrid Polymer material as our renowned ZillaGreen hoses, but comes in earthy colors ideal for a variety of landscapes.

  • Has lasted for years; easy to unkink; durable and flexible
I have a Flexzilla hose that has been sitting outside on an open but covered patio for years. It gets frozen in the winter and exposed to the high 90s to the 100s in the summer. Although it has some discoloration from dirt, it is still flexible and easy to unkink if it gets twisted. Any hose will kink if you twist it, but the Flexzilla has an excellent "memory" and straightens right back when you untwist. The rotating end helps this as well. Although the hose sits out all summer, it is not in the direct, baking sun every hour of the day. It gets direct sun for two to three hours and then a mix of shade and sun. I don't live in Arizona or another state with scorching desert heat. Based on the time-tested durability of the hose, I bought a second one. The extra cost is well worth it over the long term. ... show more

  • Not "kink-free" but better than regular hoses
The swivel ends are a great idea, and greatly reduce the frustration of re-coiling the hose onto the hanger. But it's not perfect and does kin a bit and does have a coil memory, though not nearly as bad as other hoses on the market I bought two a year ago--one is used daily and dragged across a rough driveway, and it has held up, though I wish the ends could be metal, not plastic The other I had on a wooden deck and used that one much less frequently, and that has sprung two pinhole leaks after a year. But I'm buying another one because "hose frustration" is a severe problem in my tiny world And yes, these hoses do mold/stain a bit, but Seattle is moldy anyways... ... show more

  • So far really happy with this hose
Unfolds easily and it's super light. Got tired of those expandable types bursting and barely lasting the season.

  • Great hose? and exactly as advertised
So far this hose is exactly as advertised. It is staying completely flexible with no linking or curling even when it's totally full. Living in Arizona, the tan color matches my landscape rocks. The only negative which did NOT merit taking away a star is the fact that the black handle is so large it doesn't fit on my automatic hose reel, the type that rolls itself up when it's releasing water. Update... This has a 24-month warranty and this is now month 25 and it blew apart. I was on the patio texting a friend about everything that's been going wrong while I was watering and lo and behold something else went wrong. I thought I heard water running and I went and looked and the whole front end of the hose blew apart, totally detached. So I looked for information about the warranty thinking maybe I can get by with it and of course it's 24 months and this is the 25th. Still thinking maybe I could talk to somebody and they'd take pity on me I read how you get warranty service. You have to ship the hose to the authorized warranty and service center and prepay I guess the return shipping. Also have to provide proof of date of purchase which is not hard because I got it on Amazon, the original retail label must be accompanying the hose and how many people keep the label of a hose for 2 years. Still thinking about purchasing a replacement the price has gone up and I might put it off for the winter and get something cheaper temporarily. I'm very disappointed because I really thought this was an excellent hose and I loved it. I like the color, I like the way it worked, no kink, no unnecessary coiling, everything. What I did in the meantime is go to a local dealer and buy a shorter hose, 25' with the expectation that the spray will reach the plants. Looks like this is going to work a little while before I purchase another 50 ft one. I'm very disappointed although I did get two years out of it, this was one of the best hoses I have had. I think it's a good idea to read the warranty information to know if it's worth trying to follow up because if I saw all the hoops, I would not have consider that a useful warranty and maybe would have looked at something else, and maybe not... ... show more

  • All sticky after being in the sun
Hose has been left outside all summer for two years. First year was fine, but it was a little sticky after being out all year the next year. I just tried to roll it up for the year, and it's so sticky you can't handle it. If you do, the stuff will not come off your hands without cleaner or alcohol. I have three green ones, they fade a little but are rolled up most of the time. This is unacceptable for a brown hose that's colored to match landscaping to fall apart in the landscaping. I will not buy it again. ... show more

  • my second Flexzilla
the first Flexzilla hose I purchased was by far the best hose I've owned. Therefore, I decided to buy another in a different more neutral color other than the green.

  • Good Hose
This is a good hose, but not the best out there. First the positives: it is lightweight and the swiveling connectors helps when a kink develops. The negative is the connectors are made of plastic. I've had to drag the hose across concrete a few times and they are already getting scuffed up. I don't anticipate the connectors lasting more than a season. If you were using this hose on soil, grass, or in a garden I think this is the one to buy. All hoses get tangled up, make sure to coil it up using the over/under technique and you wont have any issues. ... show more

  • Thank you! Bless you! You made it in brown!
I’ve been a fan of Flexzilla for many years now. I’ve had one of the original fluorescent green ones in front of my house for awhile but don’t love the color since you can’t help but see it when you walk to the front door. Not exactly what I want people staring at. This brown tan color blends in perfectly with the wood chip ground cover and plants you hardly notice it at all now. And it’s still a great hose. Now if you want a high visibility hose so you can keep track of it better then stick with the green. If you want it to hide a bit better go with this brown. ... show more
