I wanted to replace the excellent 100 ft 3/4" hose I've had for years with a similar hose with great pressure and volume with a lighter weight hose. I tried a crappy expandable hose and returned it immediately. It wasn't good for anything but watering flowers. This new Flexzilla is perfect. It sucks getting old. It's not like you did something wrong to deserve it, it just happens, without your consent. As time goes by, it gets hard to manage heavy 3/4 inch garden hoses. But oh that wonderful high flow rate can sure reduce the time it takes to water your trees. And when your big, super contractor, major duty, lifetime warranty, 42 layer, 3,000 psi, garden hose gets old, like you, it gets stiff, gets kinks too easily, and is hard to manage too. Especially in the winter. And then along comes Flexzilla. Finally, we have found a durable 3/4 inch we can actually use. We have several Flexzilla hoses in various colors, lengths and diameters. We still have every one of them we have bought, including the one regularly getting crush tested in the driveway. The one Flexzilla hose which is looking worse for the wear is stored on bare rocks on the hottest part of our desert property for several years. It is getting sticky. It place of storage is known to be harsh on everything located there. I.e. neglectful place to store that one. Yes they can kink. But they are by far the easiest hoses we have ever used to un-kink (de-kink?). The swivel handle hose versions are their easiest to get un-de-kink-ed. And they are light in weight! So even an old guy like me can whip it, like a teenager whips a jump rope in the summer, to get it un-de-kink-ed, or de-rocked, or un-de-lawnmower's-de-wheeled-de-heigth adjuster thingy tangle problem. So, enjoy your Flexzilla hoses. We sure do. I especially like the ones with the swivel handles. More of their hoses should have swivel handles. Hint hint. ... show more

It's a great hose. Not perfect; it still kinks when it unwinds to full length, but it unravels easier than most. I bought two: 75' each. Love the bright color. Durability, too. I would buy more, but I want to become more skilled in maneuvering them to avoid the twists, which still occur, but are less frustrating than other hoses. ... show more

I like this particular Flexzilla water hose to the point that I've purchased four of different sizes. I love its flexibility, light weight, and color. The quality of the materials is very apparent and the end connectors are also of great quality so the attach perfectly to any spigot or to other hoses. It winds up very easily after each use. Some reviewers found it annoying that this hose kinks. Well news flash, all hoses kink no matter what--even the so called "professional grade" ones! However, I've found this Flexzilla hose will untwist much easier than most other (more rigid) hoses, especially once the water is running. I thought this hose was a bit on the expensive side (and hence the 4-star rating) but then again, most other (good quality) hoses are within the same price range. Other people who looked at this hose opted for the Goodyear or the Continental hoses (like the tire brand, you know, the black ones) but I noticed those were also very rigid and I didn't trust that the black rubber material won't put black marks on my white siding. At any rate, I'm very please with these Flexzilla hoses. Time will only tell how long they will actually last. ... show more

So far, so good in terms of quality. No problems with kinks - every once in a while it looks like it is going to kink up and then it magically corrects itself. I would have preferred a more environmental friendly color but I knew it was lime green and there didn't appear to be any other options. It is almost florescent, like a neon light. It almost shines in the dark. I think the manufacturer is hoping it can be seen from the moon. We coil it up and put it behind a bush when company comes. As a 65-year-old gardening enthusiast, I have bought many hoses over the years. I think these are the best. I have bought 4 of them over the years and they always perform well. For starters the kink up less than any other hose I have ever had. Not 100% kink free, but pretty close. The hold up well even in the strong California sun. The connecting ends are very strong. After just spending 80.00 on a garden hose i went all in . I have had enough with hoses. With that said I thought the flexzilla was going to be my answer. This could very well be the worst hose ive ever used to date. I have owned all of the big names ( Im sticking with the zero g ). Why is this hose so bad ? It kinks it kinks and kinks some more . Its not really any lighter then your average garden hose either . The absolute worst part about this hose you will sit there for 30 minutes fighting this thing to put back on a hanging hose holder. So its basically garbage imo , the time out of my life ill be spending trying to make this work im better off just buying another hose at this point. I truly question where all these reviews are coming from . Go ahead buy one it only takes 30 seconds to see how horrible it is. ... show more
