My parents previously bought a super firm king size mattress, and they only used it for a couple of months and no one else in the house want to use it anymore since it's too hard and firm. I want to be able to sleep on that mattress without hurting my back. So I have been wanting to get a topper to make it more soft. I tried the tempur pedic one at store and they were good, but the mattress costs 7k+ and their topper only is $500+ and no return. I went online and found this one, and it's less than half the cost and I wanted to give it a try. It works great in the past few nights that I slept on it. It's soft but offers good support. I like a firm sleep but wanted some cush to make it cozy. This wasnt the one for me as I felt like I was sleeping on a table top so I sent it back with a lesson learnt. That being said tho, if you want a firm bed this was an excellent quality item. I was impressed with the fabric and look. It came compressed and took form within a day. No noticeable odors. It didn’t need any time to unroll and the smell was very minimal (and I consider my smell to be very acute). The only negative it that it’s about 1.6” too wide for a queen bed.
