The guarantee was recently honored in my situation. The Flexi Hose developed a persistent leak near the faucet connection and months later near the sprayer. No hassle at all. I contacted the seller and described the problem. The reply was prompt and courteous. I was asked to provide my order number, and also a picture to verify the flaw. Fortunately I had not thrown the hose away, even though it recently had become badly breached on both ends and was no longer usable. I had the hose in its typical spot bunched below the faucet. I turned on the water and took a picture of the water spewing on both ends. Literally within minutes of forwarding that photo I received reply that my replacement had been authorized. The new Flexi Hose arrived two weeks later. Overall this item greatly expands versatility in the garden area as long as it is used sensibly. I have mine on a splitter. The other side holds either a soaker hose or a more standard rigid hose. Flexi Hose is great for quickly watering plants around the garden. I use it frequently while transplanting. Also for reaching around the corner of the house without need to drag a heavy hose. Flexi Hose is not capable for sprinklers. That's why I occasionally need the traditional hose. Make sure to turn the water off after every use instead of allowing pressure to build within the hose. Also to empty the hose after every use and recoil it to bundled position. On a comparatively fragile item the less stress the better. The spray nozzle is not the best. In fact, the one I recently received with the replacement hose is not even set correctly. The mist setting shoots out a long harsh spray while the adjacent setting supplies the mist. No big deal. Kind of amusing, actually. ... show more

I bought two of these in September of 2018. One for the deck and one for the front porch. I found them to be very handy and the one on the deck is still working fine. It coils up, stretches out, is hardly more than the weight of the water! Easy to maneuver because it's flexibile and light weight. I flipped the one on the front porch over a bush this summer and it came apart. The fittings are high quality brass, but the hose came apart about a foot from the spigot. I was very surprised! It is unrepairable so I had to throw it away. The only other thing is that the hose on the deck is behind the porch swing. There is about 2 feet of space between the railing and the swing. When I turn the hose on back there, it fills up quickly, expanding in every direction and there is no place for me to step without stepping on the hose. I usually step on it about 5-6 times before I can get out from behind it all. It is not damaged yet, which is a little surprising! It seems to be very sturdy and I hope it lasts a long time yet. The hose in the front popping open was a pretty big surprise. It is not under my feet to turn it on so I have rarely stepped on it. It has had pretty gentle care. Overall, they are pretty convenient, but I am not quite ready to spend that much again for something that lasts 4 seasons. I am trying a local hose from a reputable nursery now in the front. I can't manipulate heavy hoses anymore, so if this doesn't last, I may be back because they are very easy to use and very convenient. :-) ... show more

This is the 5th hose that we bought. All of them eventually leak like in the picture. Some last longer than others. The last one we bought shown in the picture sprang that leak after 5 months. You need to make a claim to Bulbhead. They were very quick to respond and we got a pro-rated refund of $37.69. We paid $62.82 for it with taxes so the refund is not enough to get a new one. But that's how it goes because there is no obvious stated warranty policy. ... show more

This is my first year of having a garden, and I purchased this hose specially to water my vegetable garden, and then also my flowers and lawn. I have been very satisfied with the hose. It has the ability to expand very long when the water supply is turned on, which makes it excellent for me to reach all my raised bed in one corner of my backyard, and all the way to the other corner where I have flower beds and grass lawn. The nozzle is amazing, as it has multiple modes of spraying water. This is very useful to me because sometimes I need a softer spray for flowers, herbs, and seedlings, and then I need the strong full mode to water bushes. I have used, the shower, vertical, and horizontal modes to water my lawn, though I guess other modes may also be used. I would like to note that just recently, the nozzle's inner tube broke, so I contacted the seller. The seller responded very quickly saying that they have sent a new replacement, which I received the very next day. I was pleasantly surprised to receive the entire hose and nozzle as a replacement from the seller with no extra cost. A tip to remember: after using the hose, drain all the water from the hose, and turn off the supply. I wasn't doing that, and that may have caused the problem. I was pretty happy with this little hose for the first year. Good water pressure, super light. But 18 months later, hose is dead. Died. Dead. It looks like a 2-foot section got super stretched out (it didn’t) and now the water doesn’t go past there. It just pours out of the sides of the hose. Will not order again. ... show more
