Instructions clearly state must be seasoned and tell you exactly how too. Otherwise it will start to rust. Worth the money.

It's very well priced and... It's exactly as pictured. I ordered the wolf and I used it during the holiday season with some star anise, pine needles, cinnamon sticks, and a few cloves and my house smells AMAZING! It builds up on the side with gunk but that's my fault and it's super easy to clean. I'll be ordering another for my daughter's house. Thank you! ... show more

I love the size and the wolf design. However, you do have to preseason prior to use. It would be beneficial if the seller would advise if it is or isn’t preseasoned as more often than not iron forged in 2022 usually is. The lid rusted *badly* after only one use and the inside of the pot turned white up to the water line as well. I was able to treat it and got the white discoloration removed from the pot but I’m going have to go old school and see if I can get the rust off the lid. ... show more
