The ab bench is really good quality and only took about 20 minutes to put together. Customer service for this company is absolutely outstanding. There was a very minor part missing and Eilleen was such a pleasure to deal with. They sent out the missing part right away and had quick responses on emails. I would use these at the gym all the time which helped me develop a strong core. I was hesitant on buying one at first but after using it, it’s perfect for me! It’s very sturdy and very easy to put together, I did it in less than 30 mins and comes with everything needed. No regrets!

    • Poor Quality Control
A few examples of poor quality control and marginal packaging: 1) several washers were badly bent. I had to put them in a vice to straighten them 2) several of the metal brackets that required that a bolt go through them, were too far apart to secure the bolt; had to bend them together with a clamp. 3) some of the bolts came with an extra washer, and it appeared the instructions required the second washer, but not enough room to use both washers 4) as the picture shows, a thin plastic part was broken. I could see the broken piece of plastic in the the plastic bag used in shipping. This equipment should have more durable parts. I was generous in giving this a rating of “3.” ... show more

The only thing keeping this from being a perfect home bench is it’s inability to go flat. Because it doesn’t go flat, my husband wants to keep his rinky dink flat weight bench and now we have two benches in the room, when there should only be one. Add this feature and you’ve got a perfect machine. It’s sturdy, doesn’t wobble when in use, is light as a feather when moving it around (thanks to the wheels), and has great angles to get in a good workout.
