This decline bench is easy to put together and very sturdy. It is exactly what you would find at a commercial gym. I was worried about assembly since several reviews mentioned a missing item. My box had all parts and tools required for assembly. Assembly took about 40 minutes, but I took my time. Based on the construction quality and actual use of heavy duty steel, I anticipate it will last 10+ years of heavy use. The adjustments on the bottom allow you to adjust the height somewhat, but I would have loved that to have included rubber bumpers on the bottom. Not an issue for its current location (for me) which is carpeted, but you may want to pick up some peel and stick bumpers for the bottom from any local hardware store if you’re worried about scratches. ... show more

I bought this bench about 6 months ago and it's been a new experience after doing leg raises and ab workouts on decline benches for years. It's good quality, designed for ab workouts, seems well built and pretty strong and sturdy, with real comfort. It's a great addition to a home gym.

Great product, was actually nicer than I expected. Only downside I’ve noticed after a few workouts is the second platform where your feet go is not as sturdy as I’d like (it moves a bit even when locked in place). The only thing keeping this from being a perfect home bench is it’s inability to go flat. Because it doesn’t go flat, my husband wants to keep his rinky dink flat weight bench and now we have two benches in the room, when there should only be one. Add this feature and you’ve got a perfect machine. It’s sturdy, doesn’t wobble when in use, is light as a feather when moving it around (thanks to the wheels), and has great angles to get in a good workout. Not semi commercial at all , poor quality components, long pad now sags from body weight doing sit ups etc….not stretched tight enough, spend more on making it worth the money people spend on it…probably won’t last very long…look elsewhere everyone….looks aren’t everything !!

The ab bench is really good quality and only took about 20 minutes to put together. Customer service for this company is absolutely outstanding. There was a very minor part missing and Eilleen was such a pleasure to deal with. They sent out the missing part right away and had quick responses on emails.
