It's okay. I am ten years old, and my parents got this for me. The battery life is really bad. If you leave it on overnight the battery runs out. It takes hours to charge, and you only get about an hour of life. The transforming part is cool, but it breaks down over time. It is also very weak. If you expect the lights to flash, they do not. I got the red one as a bday gift and was concerned it wouldn't work, I was so happy when it arrived and the boy I gifted it too got to open it, he's 4 and he can be a little rough with his toys, this car has been making him so happy and he uses it all the time! This is a pretty good toy for what you pay and the kids had a good time with it. The only thing is you should be able to click the transform button to transform up and again to transform down. Instead you have to hold the transform button and time when to let go JUST RIGHT. Too soon and it'll stop halfway up too late and it starts to go back down. Very annoying especially for a 6 year old who couldn't get it to ever transform right. :( ... show more

I think its a bargain. So this opening remark is just an honest detail that I hope won't change the mind of a potential buyer. The first toy didn't operate correctly. It ran very well except for the transformer feature that didn't work out of the box. But I requested a free replacement that was sent very quickly and it worked perfectly. And of course the original one was sent back for free. Beyond knowledge of the performance of the replacement, the last report I have is that the young child has been playing with it regularly for several weeks now with no problems. So for no more than it cost, if the thing would give up completely today, I would be satisfied with it. It has provided so far a lot of fun and pleasure for a 4 year old little boy. ... show more
