    • Not quite what was pictured, instructions unclear, but it works

The media could not be loaded. Unit that arrived looks different than in the pictures. The heat plate is a simple flat design instead of stylized stamped steel. The pressure knob is plastic and not metal. I only received the blue soft pad, the white one underneath it in the pictures was not included. However, the unit works, it's just strange to get to working the way you expect it to. The instructions are not clear, so I will give you tips on how to use the unit if you're having problems getting it to heat. When you set up the unit, you will press the mode button to access the settings. First press, you can set the initial temperature, 2nd press is maximum temperature, 3rd is timer, 4th is to confirm your settings and exit. Then you press the play button to start heating and the set light will flash while heating. However, when you first set it up, skip the 1st setting for initial temperature and start by setting the 2nd setting, max temperature first. Your initial temperature cannot ever be higher than whatever your max temperature is, so if you press the button and try and set the initial temperature and it's stuck on 200 and won't go higher, it's because your 2nd setting, the max temperature, is also set to 200. Set the 2nd setting, press mode 2 more times, and then press mode again and start over to set the initial temperature. Also, your unit may ship set up in Celsius, like mine was. If you want it in Fahrenheit, or vice versa, you need to turn the unit off, press and hold both of the arrow buttons in, turn the unit on while keeping the buttons pressed, wait until it beeps and switches to the unit settings before releasing the buttons. You can then use the arrows to switch from F to C. After setting your two temperaturesa and timer, you can start heating by pressing the play/pause button. The set light will flash and you will need to wait until the unit completely heats up and beeps for 10 seconds. After it beeps for 10 seconds, pressing the button again will start your timer. You can now clamp your item and then press play to start the timer. If you don't wait until the beep ends, at least on my unit, the unit will stop heating, and then pressing play will start the heating but then once temperature is reached, start counting down immediately the set and timer buttons will both illuminate at the same time if this is happening. This took some time to understand what was going on and how to not have it automatically start the timer once temperature was reached. It's not a setting mentioned anywhere in the manual. It's much more desirable to have the timer start once you're ready for it to. Congratulations, as long as it heats all the way to temp, you should be good to go. You will hear the control box click on and off internally once it gets within 5 degrees of temp to keep the temperature from going above the max and click on and off at max to regulate the temperature. This is normal. I'll update this review if anything changes or goes south. I'll contact the seller about the missing pad. ... show more

Can’t get temp to go above 223 degrees, otherwise works very well. Happy with it, I guess it gets the job done. Only tried t-shirt transfers that came with it.

Nice little machine, but hard to maneuver around hats especially never enough room to see it somethings in the right spot or shifted, and seems like it's not really for hats at all. Then the clearance you have to constantly twist so you can actually move it out the way without scraping across your project don't think it will be much different with shirts but we will see definatley needs a new design with better monuverability ... show more

Just opened box. Parts list included but looks like couple parts not in box. Like part G and J. For me no issue because may not need them anyway. I've been able to use several of the pieces that came with this heat press. They all have worked well. Watch YouTube videos to figure out how to change the press for different projects as well as the time and temperature for the best transfers. Directions aren't clear, but it is an easy process.
