We had a scare and lost our dog for 17 hours so upon her return I immediately began researching gps dog collars. Fi not only had great reviews but I thought the features were just what we needed. I can’t recommend this collar enough. The tracking, app info, community and even the light feature are great. Plus the battery life is excellent. It’s not cheap but I would say it’s a great value for money. Our dog is 15 lbs and the small size is a perfect fit. I thought it would be bulky and uncomfortable but our Lucy doesn’t seem to mind it a bit. My yorkie has used two generations of Fi collars and Whistle before that. Had to purchase another for my new frise mix who’s a bit loony. Love Fi because the battery goes on for weeks, there’s lots of third party collar options out there, the LED is awesome at night, and it doesn’t look like something added to a collar as much as other brands do or adding an AirTag does. The Fi was a life saver when my yorkie was younger and ran off after squirrels; but luckily learned to listen and to return home by him self; but still love the collar because of the fitness tracking. I recently had an AirTag on my frise mix; which worked most of the time; but the Fi is just more reliable and as already mentioned - love the added LED light when walking the dogs at night. It’s not a strong light that’s meant to replace a flashlight; but it’s more to know where they are, help people spot them, and hopefully avoid bicycles or even cars from hitting them. As a bonus - there’s an option to choose from a few light colors. If one of the doggies go missing, the Fi can be put into lost mode, which causes the light to flash red (so I don’t like using the red light to avoid confusion if others know about the collar). The Fi collar is definitely worth it if you worry about your dog running off and/or their daily workout. There is somewhat of a social network built into the app where you can post and other like other pics of dogs and connect with other dog owners; but I don’t use it much and the app isn’t built around a social network which I’m thankful for. I will agree that pricing can be high compared to just using an AirTag and/or options from some carriers that offer similar trackers now; but bundling for a year or two seem to help reduce the cost (although it has to be paid upfront at once). …maybe Fi should consider allowing people to use those new financing options that allow for 4-bi-weekly payments interest free (just a suggestion). I also do wish the collar could play a sound when in lost mode; but at the same time I can see that causing some dogs to panic and God forbid, possibly run into traffic or get injured somehow. Anyways - love the collars and definitely look into the third part Sexy Dog Beast collars if you want something more premium and quality made for your furry friend. ... show more

We bought this for a service dog we are training, and this looked like one of the best options out there as far as being able to live track your furry family member. Thankfully we have never had to use it but we had tested it and it works very well.     • Works decent but not super accurate

This smart collar works decently, but for the price, not as accurate as I would like. I thought it would show me the location of my dog on our property but it only shows his location when he leaves the boundary. When he’s inside the boundary it shows he is “home but not exactly where. So when he’s in the yard wandering around I don’t know where exactly. Also the location for outside the boundary is not super accurate. It shows me his whereabouts but cannot lead me directly to him. It’s off by about 500 feet so if he ever did get lost I don’t know if I’d find his exact location. You also cannot “ding” the collar if he does wander or gets lost so that would be a helpful feature to add. A dinging sound so I can hear where he is if he does get lost. It also doesn’t notify me instantly when he gets outside of the boundary. There’s a few minute delay. So by the time he’s ran down the street, he’s pretty far by the time I’m notified. For the price it’s ok. It does the job but not 💯 and for the price I would think it would be super accurate with all the features. I do like that it counts the steps and tells me when the battery is low though. ... show more

The Quality of the dog collar is amazing, very Durable. I have two cattle dogs. And both of them have had there Fi’s collar’s on for over 6 months now and I haven’t had even 1 issue yet with them. The 1st charge lasted about 2.5 months before I had to charge them. Charging only took 1-2 hours, with a 40w usb port. They are so lightweight compared to other options I tried before coming to Fi. Also Definitely the best priced when it comes to a quality GPS collar on the market! True to size! Didn’t event have to measure my dogs neck. The app is amazing and works flawlessly it will tell you updates on how many steps your dog has done each day it and it gives you updates on how high they are ranked in the city, state, and the Fi world. The range is outstanding, I can check where my dogs are at exactly, wherever I am whether, I’m at work or I’m on vacation or in town. I truly love these collar’s soo much that I just ordered another one for my new golden retriever that I just rescued. I would recommend this to anyone looking for the BEST gps collar, with the best quality and the best price and the best performance! ... show more
