Very easy to pair to the hand unit. This was purchased as a second collar for another dog and it works just like the original. Battery life is excellent, I was able to use on the dogs for 8+ hours active tracking with no issues. If you’re going to buy a tracking collar, this is the one.

    • Overall good with one weakness.
The wire that runs through the rubber sleeve that connects the main housing to the radio receiver needs to be protected better. I have many of these collars I use on my hunting dogs and ever since they chained the design away from the dc30 they have not been as tough. They need to go back to the nylon collar with a thick nylon sleeve that protects the wire. ... show more
