After using this for months now, I can say that this is best detangling brush I ever own. I have a 3-C hair. It saves me so much time detangling. Cutting my detangling time in half. Also, I have less hair loss when detangling ever since I started using this brush. However, this is primarily sa detangling brush, its not good at styling/creating curl clumps. I used to section my hair when detangling, but now I barely do because detangling has become so much easier. However, I would still advice that you do section your hair since its a good habit. Out of the box, the brush would feel flimsy and light. However, it held for many months. Especially the handle and the bristles. It even last longer than my more expensive brush. I’ve tried the dupe and I’ve tried the real thing and I would pay the extra the money and get the real thing again. This brush is now the only brush that my tender headed 12 and 18 years olds will use. It will still hurt when it catches on tangles but not nearly as much as traditional brushes. It’s great for blow drying too. I use it in my own coils and I use it to disburse my product evenly. For this it works great. It also seems to be durable, unlike the fake Unbrush. ... show more

I have super thick hair. It is super long too ( I am 5’7” and it goes down past my butt). This brush is a game charger !!!! Never have I ever had a brush that doesn’t pull my hair. Wet hair ? No pulling. Hair after swimming? No pulling. Hair after no bonnet and slept all night waking up tangle in a hot mess of my own hair ? No pulling! Easily combs through any tangle or knot with no discomfort or ripping. I even tried it on my nieces hair that is super kinky curly and she is super sensitive. But no pulling! No tears! No screaming! This brush is great for right after a shower. Easily goes through my hair. Makes me feel like I am not pulling out my hair when brushing it wet. I don’t know if it’s really saving my hair from damage but it works for me

Bought this brush because my old one was about done. It works pretty well on curly hair. However, if you are wanting to use on kids hair that getts pretty notted and matted id consider combining with something else. Its pretty light weight so makes me question its durability. My daughter rolls around and plays with her hair and more often than not has tiny knots that are close to imposible to get out and this doesnt cut it. ... show more

I love the unbrush! I have one chunk in the back of my head that likes to turn into a dread. I have had my husband come brush it out for me at times and it takes like 20 min and hurts so bad! With the unbrush, it brushes straight through it and no pain!!!! 🤯 in person, it feels cheap, but it has held up to some pretty tough travel. This brush works great for tangles and curly hair. I still use a detangler on my sister's thick curly hair but this brush has been a game changer. She has a very tender head and hates getting her hair brushed but this cuts the time in half and she doesn't mind as much. I have thick straight hair but tend to get knots at the nape of my neck but this brush works so well to get rid of them. If you struggle with knots or have thick curly hair I highly recommend trying this brush out. Works great with wet or dry hair. ... show more

After deciding to hand the brush to the teens, and them giving me positive feedback on the brushes, I decided to give it another go. These brushes do not work well on wet hair - they do tend to pull and/or just ignore the knots altogether. But on DRY hair, they do so much better. So, to revise this review... I would recommend for use on dry hair. If you intend to use on wet hair, I would still not suggest this Unbrush for that. Also, it works best if you drag the bristles all the way through the hair in one sweep, instead of taking short swipes, as if you were using any other brush... idk why that is, but that's what I've learned. . . Original review below: These brushes don't even want to glide through brushed hair. The bristles are not stiff enough to handle knots. I was duped. I bought three, in two colors, hoping they would work and I could give them as gifts this holiday... then I received them, tried one, and it doesn't work worth poop. I cannot recommend NOT buying these enough. Seriously. Not worth it. ... show more
