This is our newest favorite brush! We previously only used tangle teezers, which we still use, but we each for this more often! My oldest has tight, ringlets that get frizzy when brushed and it works wonders for her tangles! It's very easy to use and glides through the hair whether it's wet or dry. Every day is a struggle, brushing my 9yo's thick, straight hair. She has a very sensitive head, and it's always a struggle to get her hair tangle-free. I was pretty skeptical when this brush arrived - it's so lightweight, and doesn't look very capable. But IT WORKS. Absolutely WORTH the extra cash. It did not dig into my scalp & detangled my hair in no time (compared to the Wet brush, which hurt & took longer), and the best part - my hair dried a LOT faster. My hairdresser recommended this brush! While it does untangle your hair really nicely and is gentle, I like it a lot because it's backless, so it's really easy to clean / keep clean. It is a bit expensive for a hairbrush, but it would be well worth it especially if it holds up well over time. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I'm not sure if this brush will stand the test of time and hold up well over the course of years. But hopefully it will! ... show more

My wife’s old brush was falling apart so I decided to find her a new one. I had seen tons of great reviews of the unbrush on TikTok as well as on Amazon so I figured it was worth a shot. Luckily, the brush is pretty great! It does feel a bit cheap, but that may just be due to the fact that there is not much too it. My wife says it is better at dealing with hair snags and knots than your average brush. My hair is a bit easier to manage but still there are no complaints from me. This brush has been such a blessing! I have long, thick hair that’s difficult to detangle, especially if I skip brushing in the shower or don’t use enough conditioner. I have been using this brush for about a year and have not used another one since I've bought this one. I would recommend it to anyone, especially those with type 4 hair.
