If you buy this i recommend before you run it that you inspect the clutch and the needle bearing that rotates on the shaft. I suspect the root cause of my clutch shattering was the needle bearing missing the bearings in the casing. When I took it apart to determine why I could not pull the starter cord I found a shattered clutch part and when I pulled the clutch off the shaft I found the casing for the needle bearing was empty! There were no bearings there weren’t even any signs of them between the crank case and the clutch where all the clutch pieces were trapped when the clutch shattered. . Anyway inspect it thoroughly before you run it! It took about 2 weeks back and forth with the manufacturer to finally get all the parts replaced which BTW is a whole story in itself. When the clutch shattered it damaged the worm gear and the oil pump. I was in the middle of a cut and the failure put me out of work for two weeks. I gave the saw two stars though it really deserved a 1 star rating. They need to clamp down on their quality control. . Other than the damaged parts after using it twice I felt that it was powerful enough for milling oak lumber. Just inspect it throughly before you run it. ... show more

The chainsaw is defective and will not work. I’ve tried to resolve the issue and seller has ghosted me. This saw is fecal matter on a stick and about as useful in the cutting of a tree. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

    • It's HEAVY but effective!
My husband bought this chainsaw after Hurricane Beryl because he needed something bigger to cut up the fallen trees in our yard. Boy did it do the job well! The only issue he had was the weight of the equipment. His dad who is 83 had issues using it.

Got this yesterday put it together ran it for 10 minutes didn't cut anything came out this morning to cut some trees and already it's leaking oil. Didn't realize it was a third party now I gotta put work on hold. I should have just bought the name brand because this is costing me way more time Im not cutting trees. In the first picture the saw was sitting on my tailgate for maybe 10 minutes you can see the amount of oil leaking out in that short period of time. All I know is I've missed 2 days at 500$ each day so I should have just bought the Husqvarna for 800$ and I would not have this issue. This third party excuse Amazon uses is completely absurd, me and my wife spend thousands on here every month they collected my money then pawned us off to sit and wait. We are done making large purchases through Amazon no way are we gonna buy another item without seeing it first. Horrible customer service Amazon. A couple months later although everything I said at first was and is true for the money this machine is a beast yes it leaks oil constantly but when running it's a beast I don't use it every day but when I do it gets the job done . ... show more
