  • Great Product - Terrible Delivery
I'm rather impressed with this very cost effective heat press. Very easy to set up - Very easy to operate - and it does the job very well. The press handle is heavy - but that's what I like about it - and it heats up rather quickly. But the backstory is a little irritating - yet a blessing in disguise :) After 3 weeks I have finally received my heat press. Not the one I originally ordered - Three weeks ago I orders the Bosstop 15x15 Heat Press and when I got it and opened it up it did not work - It would not heat up. Their customer service was quick and responsive - and even though the language barrier was apparent, there was great sincerity in communication. Upon replacing it with the Fancierstudio Power Heat Press 15X15 I may have come to realize why my Bosstop may have not worked.... The way it was delivered. I suspect it was dumped upside-down by the Amazon delivery guy - why do I say this.... Very simple - Yesterday, when I finally got my new heat press - I heard a very loud 'thud' on my door step - when I went out to see what it was, I noticed try new heat press had arrived, and the driver literally dropped it at the front step. This, regardless of the fact that it had "Fragile" stickers all over it and said 'Handle with care'... if this is how Amazon treats customer packages, no wonder the first press I received did not work. Okay - I know that last paragraph was a vent - but I feel better having let it out. Conclusion - this new press is heavy, sturdy and can take a beating and still operate! - I love it!! ... show more

  • It gets the job done but it's dated
So if you're like me and you're just getting into making your own clothes or starting a business you might find this little tool handy. For a low cost you can start a business a t-shirt business or a decal business or you can use it to iron your pants. I like about this product is that it is sort of intuitive. There's no PSI detection but that's standard for the cost of these lower tier heat press machines. I still think it looks way better than those heat things from Michaels. I bet this was really the thing back a few years ago but since I'm so late in the game and barely started studying different types and variations I would have to say that this type of heat press is outdated. But don't get me wrong I still use it everyday and it's fun and then that's because I can't afford the real stuff or the state of the art heat press which usually starts at around $1,000. It does the same thing I mean if you think about it and iron does the same thing too so when I mean by outdated it's just that there are better things if you have the money for it. But if you were just getting started then this is the product for you. One thing that I found that was weird was that when I first started using this device I would heat up to 375 and heat press vinyl onto t-shirts or sweaters. Mostly cotton clothing. And it used to work smoothly. After about 2-3 weeks I I started messing up a lot of my t-shirts and I couldn't understand why because I always use 375° and the pressure in no matter what if it was low or just right it would still burn through. Then I lowered it to 302° and now this is where I stay mostly depending on the item that I'm pressing. It's just weird because I did start for a few weeks on 375 with the same kind of items but I don't know beats me. ... show more

  • It’s ok
I bought this about 3 years ago. It hasn’t really held up and the only thing I do is the occasional shirt for my grandkids. Once it gets used a few times it is super hard to clean. It doesn’t maintain temperature very well and seems to drop temperature pretty quickly after the first use.

  • Great choice
The labels around the edges of the press fell off the first time I turned it on. Other than that, great machine!

  • Presses well, but definitely check the bottom!
Im so glad I read reviews before I bought and saw one that mentioned theirs having sharp points on the bottom. I checked mine and sure enough there are rather big spots where the welding or metal coating isn’t smooth and would DEFINITELY scratch a hard surface. I’m keeping mine on my floor for the time being and I have new floors so I found a way to save them. I took a glue gun and melted a bunch of glue to the bottom. Floor is saved AND I’ve got better traction on the press so it doesn’t scoot around. The only other thing that bothers me is the smell of this press. Granted I’ve only used it twice, so I’m hoping that it’s only a temporary issue that will resolve with repeated use. EDIT: After about 4 or 5 uses on separate occasions for about 15 minutes at a time, the smell is completely gone. ... show more

  • Pressing Away
Easy to use heat press. I had to reset the settings on it to get it to work, but that was a quick fix and look up. So far so good with this purchase.

  • Great quality!
I’ve had mine for over a year and the only problems I’ve had with it is the screws to the head have become a little loose and the head can be wobbled a little bit! But that doesn’t cause problems for anything that I press! It still does the job well! You can change everything from time, temp and pressure. ! I love it and will continue to use it until it dies! ... show more
