My 4 cats and I have been living with my dad and his 4 cats since Helene. The towers on the perch he had were falling off due to poor quality. I recently bought a sturdy perch of a different brand. Dad wanted something heavy and good quality. Thus one is 10# heavier than the one I had at my house. Incredibly sturdy, no tools required, and just 5 pieces to assemble. Probably would have taken about 10 minutes but every time we got a platform out one of my cats hopped on it while we were trying to screw it in place. I’ve had cats for most of my 58 years. I had a brand I really liked when I lived in WI but there aren’t any of those stores in NC. This is the BEST perch I’ve ever had, better than what used to be my favorite. Definitely worth every penny of the price. Perfect for large adult cats. I’ve already recommended it to a friend who needs a new perch for her cat. I have a blind kitty and this cat tree is absolutely perfect for him. It is laid out very well so he can get up and down easily from the very top to the bottom. It’s plenty big for a full-size cat to lay on any of the shelves. I’ve never purchased a cat tree with a curved shelf like this one has on the top. I wasn’t sure if my kitties would like that or not, but they love it. The carpet is also nice quality. This is heavy duty and will NOT tip over when kitties jump on it.     • Well made. My 4 cats love it.
Pros: Came mostly assembled. Easy to screw on the 3 shelves. Real carpet that will last. The uncarpeted underside was sanded very smooth. No splinters. I was worried about this because all of my cat trees are fully covered. But this is fine. Nothing snags. Solid. Rope is secured tightly. No nails or staples sticking out. Cats (max 13 lbs) roughhouse on this with no problems. No fear of tipping. Plenty of room on the platforms. The middle U-shaped platform is very deep. I was afraid it would be too much but they love it. I think they feel secure. And they love to "hide" and peek over when playing. It will definitely hold a big breed cat. Cons: The bottom had some wood splinters that I felt the need to cover to protect the floor. Just one corner. The middle post wobbles just a bit. It turned out not to be a problem but I wanted to note it. I only buy these solid wood trees with real carpet because they last for more than the lifetime of your cat. Worth the expense. But it has been so hard to find them lately. I hated to buy one without being able to see how stable and well made they are. But this one did not disappoint. I am glad I gave it a try. I can see a larger breed cat being fine on this. The center pole needs to be screwed tight or support piece screwed between one platform and the middle pole if it is a concern for the big guys. So glad I decided to spend a little extra on this cat tower. It’s well made, very sturdy and an excellent choice for large cats. Scratching posts are very durable. I purposely chose this one for the large perches that my cats like to sleep on. Perfect height for them to avoid the nosey Corgis too! The unit did have a bent screw but my husband was able to fix it eventually. Had a funny smell to it as well but once you air it out it goes away. This does not wobble like previous towers we had and this will not be easily destroyed as the cheaper ones on the market. Happy cats, happy cat mama! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I really like this tower. Its super sturdy. Easy to assemble. Decent in height. I also dont have straight floors but it has some good weight to it so it doesnt wobble. I have two big cats (4 cats in total). In the pictures are 3 cats. Black tuxedo who weights 13lbs. American short hair (the big boy) 20lbs. American short hair (seen sleeping 10lbs) and off screen is another big boy at 17lbs (savanah mix breed) not in the photos. Holds well with all 4 of em on it. My biggest concern was when tighting the last post, I got injured by a staple sticking out, requiring a suture tape on the palm of my hand. Luckily I got hurt and not my cats. But thats a big concern as the injury was half a inch deep. Never the less, for the value of it I wish it was properly inspected before it was shipped. Otherwise, for how big it is I like the price. So I wont do a harsh review. Mistakes happen. For any future buyers , make sure to comb through it before you let your cats play on it. ... show more

Perfect cat tree for big cats! Photo attached of my 20+ pound cat stretched out on the bottom for reference. Multiple cats could be on this at the same time and have plenty of distance from one another. I love that it has multiple scratching posts as well. This is a high quality cat tree. It does shake a tiny bit when my heaviest cat jumps on the very top shelf, but this happens with all cat trees. Theres no way this thing would tip over because it had a heavy base so I'm not worried about that at all. Cats are not bothered by it either. Also looks great! ... show more

This is by far the best cat tree I’ve ever purchased. The carpet is high quality material that is like the kind of carpet you would install on your home. Not that cheap fuzzy stuff on most trees nowadays. The twine scratching posts are also very sturdy. The packaging was very minimal, just one box, which made clean up super easy. Not tools required for assembly, everything is hand-twist to secure and you really only need to attach the three standing posts. 100000% the best cat tree you will ever buy! ... show more

I love the size and quality of this tower. My cat is 16lbs and the shelves and tower area make him look small. He enjoys being able to stretch out on a tower that's not small. Worth every penny as soon as I watched him peek over the top out the window and fall asleep.
