    • Exactly what I was looking for
Just what I needed. I needed a short hose to go from my house spigot to my landscape irrigation system. This one fits perfectly. Due to the short length, I didn't really need it 'kink proof' but the SS metal is a bonus as this will be sure to deter my outside dogs from chewing on it (wish the landscape irrigation was the same - one dog thought it looked great to chew on). This even comes with bonus extra hose washers. This is a nice little hose if you need a short one. It is the narrower diameter, so just be aware of that. ... show more

Added this to the end of our long garden hose to provide more flexibility for watering. The hose end and nozzle are now easier to maneuver. It doesn’t leak and looks good.

I've been switching to these steel hoses in hopes they will fare better in the AZ sun than regular rubber hoses. I can't testify to the longetivity of the hose yet, but it definitely is much lighter weight than traditional hoses. This hose was not a true 5-ft, short by 4 inches. The ends do seal, but I wish they'd have a deeper threading portion so it will fit more securely onto the spigot. There is quite a bit of threading left exposed on the spigot because of the shallowness of the female end of the hose. However, it still seals with no leaking. But then again, when I go to remove an attachemt from the male end of the hose, the rubber grip unscrews, instead of the metal hose part. So you HAVE to unscrew the rubber grip, and then have to frustratingly try to grip the very thin threaded male hose end. My mechanical engineer husband had to use tools to get the hose unhooked. Very inconvenient. The grips need to be one with the hose end, so that you can use the grip to unscrew the hose. I have other hoses like that, but this is not one of them. ... show more
