I've bought several of these types of hoses over the past ten years. 30ft works for my back yard, 50ft works for my front. This 50ft hose did not reach as far as my previous hoses, by about 4 or 5 feet. With my previous one I could stand just past the last hedge in my front yard and water it from in front, but this one didn't stretch long enough to do so even with the water turned on at full pressure. Quality seems at least as good as any other, let's see how long it lasts before leaking. Water comes out at great pressure. Nozzle seems better than what the others came with too. ... show more

I am not sure it expands quite as much as it said, but it is the 3rd one I have tried, so I am going to keep it. It does contract, and it is lightweight. I m hooking it to my kitchen faucet, and we did have to remove the washer to make it fit (I had purchased an adaptor from Amazon). It leaks a little bit but is fine.
