Love this BUT you have to make sure you’re buying it from FitBelt the real company. There is a bunch of Chinese sellers selling counterfeit versions. I know because I ordered one from them by accident. It will take 1 month to arrive and looks nothing like the FitBelt. So make sure you buy from FitBelt they offer Prime shipping. As for the real FitBelt it’s super high quality with strong velcro and easy to set up! It definitely really engages the glutes during hip thrusts! You can’t go as heavy as a barbell but it’s a must for home workouts and even workouts while traveling. ... show more

    • won't hold certain weights
oh, you can try, but those dumbbells will flip around. if you have adjustable ones (like I do?) this isn't great. it's awkward and the way the weights press up against your sides is actually painful - I have bruises :( the padding is sufficient, and the velcro is sturdy. it's the straps that kind of let you down. I think these would be best with weight plates - you know so you can threat the strap through the holes in the middle? or maybe kettlebells. ... show more

I’ve gotten to use this twice so far and I am already obsessed! It is a great tool to elevate my home workouts. I’ve used it with my dumbbells and with my kettlebells and it is comfortable and very high quality. The highest weight I’ve used it with is 25lbs on either side and it felt very secure. I have tried it for hip thrusts and have also used it over my shoulders for weighted squats and lunges. Everything has worked great! I am so happy with this product.     • Helpful while doing hip thrust with dumbbells
It definitely took me a few times to realize how to use it. But once you get the hang of it, super easy use. I have used it for lifting two forty’s and the velcro hold well. It just hangs usually to one side but I’m nervous to add more weight what would happen. But I like it a lot!
