This one came at the right time. My previous chair was getting old and creaky, so much it was driving me mad. When the package came in, it was stored and separated very similarly to most box chairs. If you've built one you have built them all but if you haven't the box comes with a simple to follow manual. All in all it took me about 20 minutes. Once built, you get a pretty stylish and slim chair. The all black palette gives it a professional vibe, typical of a modern office chair. Lumbar support has a vertical ratcheting adjustment that gives it a decent amount of adjustment . A similar vertical adjustment mechanism can be found on the headrest but the headrest also has adjustable tilt for forward adjustment. What's this all mean? It means that it's very likely that you'll find a setting that's most comfortable for you for longer period of sitting time. So I set out to look for my comfort setting. I am a 6 foot tall, 27 yo that weighs about 200 lbs. I found the backrest and headrest to be very comfortable both near the bottom most setting. The armrests are adjustable and soft - the material is fresh to the touch all around. I would like to point out that the seat pan cushion (bottom cushion) is pretty basic. It's soft and fairly comfortable with a black that matches the rest of the chair but it feels pretty flat, bland and a bit boring. I can't really knock off a star for this since at the current price points it's definitely a bang for your buck but some bolsters or contouring on the bottom seat pan cushion would go a very very long way especially when you consider the modern design of the rest of the chair. Lastly, I want to mention that I have been using this chair as my daily for about two week now. I've slightly stained the arm rest but it came off right away with water and a microfiber towel. The tilt has become a bit softer with less resistance from when it was new but that's to be expected. In it's current price, It's definitely a compelling option when you consider the headrest, lumbar support, multiple adjustment points and material. Would definitely recommend to anybody looking for a 100~ or so dollar office gaming chair. one, you've built them all, about 15 minutes. comfortable, support, 6 feet tall 200 lbs. for 99 good buy, not many options as compelling as this one at that BASE price. Bottom cushion is very flat. although not a big downside, the a simple set of bolsters wouldx be nice and set it apart. ... show more

    • Great desk chair at an incredible price.
When I saw that the price on this chair is currently $99 dollars, I had very low expectations. Instead, this chair is better than others that I've gotten at 2x, 5x, and even more than 10x the price. My main reason for getting a new chair is that the last one squeaked horribly every time I moved. This one is quiet. I am 6'4" and 285 pounds. The specs say that this chair is for people up to 6'2" and 320 pounds. Since I'm more concerned about the weight than an extra couple of inches of height, I ordered it. The chair is very easy to put together, although there were a couple of things that I needed my wife's help with, such as getting the chair onto the support pole. The lumbar support is probably the best I've ever seen in a desk chair. When I recline, my head rests comfortably on the headrest, despite my supposedly being 2" too tall. While on the subject - if you want to recline, you should turn the tension adjustment clockwise as far as it will go before sitting on the chair as it is hard to turn otherwise. The chair is very comfortable, has great features, and appears to be made of high quality materials. I highly recommend this, especially at this incredible price. ... show more

    • Comfortable for larger sized person
I needed a new office chair as my old one was starting to auto-recline without any desire on my part. Saw this, and wanted to give it a try. Comes very well packaged and wrapped with both bubble wrap and the satin feel plastic wrap. Package comes with a T-handle allan wrench that fits all of the fasteners. Good design, that. The instruction manual has both written and diagram instructions and total time took about 30 minutes from start to finish. Once setup it sits comfortably enough (I'm a good 2x in all dimensions) and the lumbar support and headrest give good support, though I do have one issue with both - I'll put that in the end comments. Wheel rolls around easily on a hardwood floor. The combination lever (in - locked no recline, out - recline, up/down release the center shock) is easy enough to reach under the right hand. The main cushion is comfy but I don't know if it will be as cool as the back rest and headrest - they are nylon mesh, its a fairly thick cushion. Only thing I wish was if the headrest and lumbar support could be locked into one of the adjustable detents that are built in. While I understand this is probably so that if you are using the recline feature they will move with you, its kinda annoying if you fidget around while sitting. It would also be nice is you could lock the recline, as it only allows you to recline or sit up at 90 degrees, no way to set a angle that you like and keep it there. Nevertheless, it easily seats me, and if you rotate the arms out of the way you could expect that a larger person could sit on this comfortablly. ... show more
