This canopied dog need it a great addition for the back yard during sunny days. It comes complete with all the parts and directions that are for the most part clear. The canopy directions I feel are not clear enough but it could just be that I and camping tent challenged! 😂 The base part fit very snugly together and it feels like it is a very sturdy base for the dogs to lay on. The canopy has an anti heat portion that is designed to slow your dog to lay underneath in protection from the sun and UV rays. It doesn’t fit snugly like the base portion but perhaps it relaxes with time. It also comes with a carry bag if you are a camper and take your dog with you. Personally, I tried to take the legs apart after putting it together to test how easy it was and I feel that it is so well made to hold up to the dog getting in and off and laying in it that it was difficult to get back apart. I don’t know if with time the fabric stretches and becomes looser to make that easier. We put a dog bed pad we had on it and my dog went right to it and fell asleep for a while. Overall, we are very pleased with the quality of this outdoor dog bed and the option it provides for our outdoor loving dog to find the safety of shade when needed! ... show more

Petbank Elevated Dog Bed, Outdoor Dog Bed with Canopy, Raised Dog Cot with Anti-Slip Feet Our 16-lb dog like to burrow into beds with tented tops, so we figured he'd like this bed. Bingo. He loves it. I assembled it myself. The only thing I'd suggest is, if you have weak hands you may need help with assembly. I had to figure out the canopy on my own, as the instructions are clear as mud for that part. On mine, the elastic straps at the ends of the shade top weren't short enough to do any good. But I just wrapped them around the outside of the frame pipe and then connected them from underneath. That took up enough length to make it snug. I put a small dog bed on it to encourage our dog to venture onto it and it worked. He loves it. It's too small, both in length and in head space under the canopy edges, for our Aussie shepherd mix, in case you need a size comparison. Our Aussie is 55-lbs. But the little dog is thrilled. Don't leave the canopy bed outdoors if there's a good breeze......it will lift off and blow away. But it's perfect for lounging on the back patio on a sunny day. ... show more

I do really like this dog bed. The assembly was a snap - about 20 minutes for completion - opening the box to completion. The materials are very good. Seems, stitching and all molded parts look very well made. The completed product is not too heavy, but it does feel like quality. And it looks nice - not the most important feature on the list, but it’s a nice extra. Our dog is about 20 lbs. and loves this bed - it allows him to stretch out some when he wants - helps with cooling. Yes - very good dog bed and I would suggest this for anyone. ... show more

    • I really want to like this
I am trying very hard to like this, but I'm not doing very good at it. It blows over every time the dog gets off of it. I am not sure if he is doing it or the wind, but when it goes, the wind caries it. I am also not sure how comfortable it is. He doesn't stay on it very long either. He spends more time under it than on it. I think I am going to attach some sand weights to it. i certainly will if I take it to the beach with us. ... show more

It will come in handy when the weather warms up and the ground gets hotter. Right now she would rather lay in the warm sun, but she will soon enjoy the cool, ventilated bed for outdoor naps. Very easy to put together and looks nice. Lots of open space to get in and out of the 'tent' area - which means a big dog may still be half in the sun, but a small dog can go where he likes. We are still trying to convince ours that the bed won't bite. Lots of dog treats being used to entice them.

I love how sturdy and durable this dog bed is. It was built to last years.Ot was very simple to put together too. Our furbaby had gotten badly infested with fleas and had to have surgery. Since we've been getting our yard and home treated I figured this would be the best thing to keep him off the grass. Pup is small and a senior so I was a little concerned with him being able to climb onto it but that has not been a problem luckily. The canopy is awfully convenient and offers ample shade for him. It's very portable and can be moved easily as it's lightweight. I have no complaints about this dog bed. It was a great buy and affordable. ... show more
