I truly loved this product! but after just 1 year the heating function is no longer working. it only blows cold air now. really upset that it no longer works. I cant find any warranty information either!

    • Very attractive unit that will keep you up at night.
I got this heater because of the features and the price. It did say forced air in the description and I now will avoid forced air heaters for night use. This thing is quite noisy when in use. Too noisy for me so I returned. Was bummed because I really liked the design and features. As with many units in this price range, it will not shut off the fan when the thermostat is triggered. Can't understand when this is. I have an old tiny Sunbeam box heater that shuts down completely when triggered. With all the features and remote I don't know why it can't do the same thing as the little Sunbeam. One thing that was curious right out of the box was the safety switch. When I pulled the unit out of the box it sounded like it had broken pieces inside. Very odd and off putting. I guess the design is some sort of ball device. I assume because I didn't look inside but the noise and operation sounded like it. If the heater tips over the "ball" moves out of its cradle and the unit turns off with a great rattle. Interesting design but I thought i had a damaged unit. I will also mention that the "throw" of this unit was very poor. I could place my had about 3' away and barely feel the air movement. While this unit is a looker, I feels very cheaply made. I understand the cost of doing business and the price point but there are way better builds out there for a similar price. I never used the remote as I sent it back 2 days after I got it so I can't comment on that. The controls on top well laid out however, i did find it difficult to operate as the distance between the buttons seemed too narrow. I would turn on or off other functions instead of the one I was intending to. Because of this I would recommend using the heater with the remote if you get it. I am giving an overall (3) star rating because as mentioned above the fan keeps running when thermostat is triggered. I can also report (with my unit) the thermostat itself was inaccurate/unreliable in achieving desired room temperature. The only way I found the unit useful was to put it at a higher temperature then I wanted and just let the thing run until I got hot. This is the main reason I returned it. Its a great looking unit for the price. If you only have $30 to spend and you want a remote and you are cool with just leaving it on to heat a room then it could work for you. I would highly recommend checking out the Zlinke Space Heater, For $10/$15 more its a way better build, night and day quieter and it pushes air very well. The Zlinke Space Heater has the same issue of the fan continuing to operate when the thermostat is triggered but I ended up keeping the Zlinke Space Heater because of build quality and design. It was the best thing i could find with a remote in the $40 price range. ... show more
