I wasn't expecting much out of this vine item but was very pleasantly surprised. Much quieter than gas powered units and still puts out a pretty strong pressure. Easy to assemble and use. Love the different tips for different jobs. Great unit overall.

    • Needs a Storage System & Some Way To Retract/Wind Up the Electric Cord
I've been nagging my husband for about 6 weeks to please help me set this unit up. Today was the day that the pollen on the deck and in our screened-in porch got to him. Without a word from me, he got it out of the garage, set it up and we worked out all the ins-and-outs together. I have never used a power washer before but have observed enough to know the principles. To me (an absolute novice), it was instinctive. We started with the lightest spray; even that was more powerful than we expected. (We are cautious to not remove paint!) I could easily figure out how to adjust the different parts...what needed to be turned off and on & when for the safest performance. The unit itself is lightweight and easy to move around although admittedly, the plastic wheels don't roll easily. It's easiest to simply pick the unit up and place it where you need it to be. Our deck is made of TREX (composite decking material) that has grooves in it to more closely resemble wood. The pollen is miserable here and thus, those grooves get a lot of pollen stuck in them that does not wash off with rain. We used several different nozzles but it is apparent pollen doesn't move easily with the power washer alone either. We will need soap on the deck. But no worries! I agree with other reviewers that the unit as a whole needs a storage system to make it the best. As it is, you can push the 4 different nozzles onto the power stick; the soap container rests on a cradle. There's a compartment to store the power stick but it falls out easily. A hanging cradle of some sort that would hold ALL the components would be a great addition to our garage wall. As it is now, we will probably end up just throwing everything into the box it came in. My husband’s comments are all positive: “well-constructed, easy to assemble, an instruction booklet that was unusually well-written & informative.” This power washer is, indeed, a game changer for outdoor cleaning. My husband had his doubts that this would be a useful to us but he is already a convert. All in all, the unit would be a 5 Star item if there was a storage system. 4-30-2024 UPDATE: I have used this power washer several times on our TREX deck since this original review was written. 1. I did a bit of research into cleansing "soaps" to use. I learned that although the listing may not say so, the majority of the cleaners are simply diluted bleach. We do NOT want to bleach this expensive deck. Consequently, I poured a bit of Pine Sol into the soap container attachment and filled with water. I sprayed on to the deck with the power washer and left solution to sit for 5-10 min/section...then scrubbed with a brush-type broom. Finally, I rinsed with the "green" water nozzle. That system seemed to work fairly well (not perfect but certainly a big improvement). 2. The biggest aggravation is that the electric cord on the unit has NOWHERE to be looped when using the unit. It easily gets tangled up with the hose. ALL. THE. TIME. I think the unit needs some sort of retraction system (ideal) or at the very least, hooks or a cradle to wind up whatever cording you don't need at the time. The media could not be loaded. This power washer is AMAZING! I did not expect for it to pull as much of a punch as it does! I used some basic car washing soap on my car to test the power washer out and ended up having too much fun using it. It is very efficient, easy to store, portable, and it has a variety of nozzles that you can use to get better cleaning results. I’d rather use this than to go back to the car wash. ... show more

    • This Is a Descent Power Sprayer--Better Alternatives
I should begin by saying that the first one of these that we received came with a broken wheel. We returned it for a replacement. The replacement came fine, but it does show that this is not the most durable power sprayer. This is the second power sprayer that we have reviewed for Amazon. We are disappointed that this one does not have a way to easily store the spray hose. There are two plastic hooks for storing the power cord and one for the hose. The cord wraps around fine, but the hose does not easily wrap in nice concentric circles around its hook. I recommend that they include a spindle with a handle that can easily real in the hose. This is our main problem with this sprayer. There are not easy and convenient ways to store all the pieces that come with the device. Their is a holster for the spray nozzle, but it is too close to the ground, so you have to take the nozzle apart to store. The handle for moving the sprayer doesn't go down like a suitcase handle does. This would help greatly with storage of the sprayer itself. The wheels are wobbly. Power wise, it is what you would expect from a small light-weight sprayer. There are a lot of these on Amazon though. This sprayer will do what you need it to, but I know that there are better alternatives for a similar value. ... show more
