Four starts is because the fireplace is a little noisy compared to another one we have in our home. The other one is a different brand.

The Flames had no motion until Christmas day, now the flames work accordingly, the E5 error occurs only if you have the heater set to high. Low setting is the only setting my special heater works on. The crystals fall behind the insert, but it started working factually on Christmas, so we shall call it part of the family now. Life is just beautiful☯️ ... show more

Instructions made no sense, where do the crystals go? It said to put it in the machine, doesn't say which way to put the legs on. Also sets off all my smoke alarms.

The media could not be loaded. Easy set up , prefer the crystals over the "carbon" insert. Love the color choices. I got this just in time for the holidays and the winter season. I use it with and without the heating function (just to create ambiance). When attaching the feet I didn't realize there was a right/wrong way to attach them but there is. One side seems to be slightly longer which should face forward to support the unit correctly otherwise it tips forward slightly. The first one I received came in a damaged box and the product was slightly damaged as well. No problem receiving a replacement within days. One reviewer noted the "sound" being noisy/loud , you can hear what I am assuming is the unit blower but if there is other background noise or if the tv is on I don't even notice it. ... show more

Didn’t open the box for a while after I purchased it (a few months). Noticed it was missing the remote. Contacted the company and explained what happened. I didn’t expect anything to come from it, less than 24 hours they responded back and shipped me a remote. Love the colors and realistic look it has while turned on.
