The media could not be loaded. It has a projection in the back that simulates the flames. From the front theres movement in the logs and then the reflection to the back. Living in florida, i didnt buy it for the heat function, so i dont want to review that. I wish there was a slide screen to cover the red temperature display on the front which i found distracting. I covered it with electrical tape provlem solved. I absolutely adore it, and i love the christmasy ambiance it creates. Great electric log for the price. You seriously cant go wrong. ... show more

1st one didn’t work at all. 2nd one doesn’t give off much heat and doesn’t change color at all. Temp only rises 2-3 degrees.
