I bought this to use in my screened in porch. It has been perfect for this fall when the evenings get cool. Instead of retreating to the house, we are able to enjoy the fresh air until later in the evening. I have no expectation of this product, keeping the porch warm when the weather turns bad, but it is absolutely lovely to have a little bit of warmth to cool fall nights. It would probably keep a decent sized bedroom/livingroom comfortable in the winter. The unit is light, so it’s easy to move. Assembly was minimal. You only have to attach the legs at the bottom and the other than that it’s ready to go when you get it. The “fire” is mesmerizing even though it’s fake and the unit itself is adorable. The top,and sides stay cool to the touch. Heat comes out of the bottom (not underneath), but at the lower front edge. No heat from the sides that I’ve been able to determine. The front door that you open to turn it on and adjust the settings doesn’t lock (it has a handle that looks like it would, but it’s just decorative ). Fortunately, it seems to be made well and the door stays/looks locked even though it’s not. Would I buy this again? In a heartbeat! ... show more

I love this electric fireplace! It is really attractive and it gives any room a cozy and warm feeling. I have it in my farmhouse kitchen and it is perfect. You get the ambience of a wood stove without the work and smoke! I highly endorse this product and would buy it again.

I bought this more for aesthetics than heat and I was surprised at how much heat it actually produces. It's great and I love it. It's smaller but great for a large bedroom. I am thinking about buying a second one.

The media could not be loaded. This is a good little heater so far (we have had it only a few weeks) but the images on Amazon are misleading. It looks nothing like the pics. See my short video. Not 3D. It is acceptable and so far is an effective heater but only somewhat resembles a real fire. Better than some I've seen. Not sure we would buy it again but we will keep this one. ... show more

Just used this for the second time and heat won't work, and one of the switches is broke for the heat, threw box away already or I would the piece of junk back, what a waste of $$$$$$, NO STARS !!!!
